The Gold Reef City complex is built on the site of an old gold mine, and visitors can still descend into the pits and see how the precious metal is extracted. I thought the tour was overpriced for what I received. The guide dropped us off late, meaning we missed a large part of the guided tour inside the park with a separate guide. He also did not explain to us the limitations of the ticket he got for us upon arrival at the park. Thoroughly disappointing tour. Continue Reading »
