This tour allowed it participants to see the various sides of Kauai, view the breath-taking scenery and travel down the Wailua River. I would recommend this tour.

Late on pickup time by 30 minutes but worth the wait. Tour guide Jack Custer was awesome, full of knowledge and great personality. Was a great trip for the price.

I think I would have given the tour a higher rating if it had been on a smaller bus and we did not have to through the long and drawn out process of pick up and delivery. Why not modify this by offering just 2 or 3 pick up and delivery spots?

Kauai is a beautiful island, one of the small of the four main islands. We choose our tour with Roberts Hawaii as it is much cheaper then the tour offered by Pride of America. It is best to pre-booked through the internet as there is no private tour at the port. The tour bus driver is very knowledgeable about the place and provides interesting information and facts about the tour. Waimea Canyon is beautiful. The sight takes you back to the dinosaur time. The Waimea Canyon tour is only half a day. The tour bus takes you back to the ship for lunch before the river cruise tour in the afternoon. We went to see a waterfall before the river cruise. The river cruise is on a flat bottom boat with Hawaii songs and dances. It was a relaxing experience.

The tour was nice. Our guide was great. We went to many highlights of the island. A good tour, but if you have a rental car and a guide book and map, you could do this tour yourself. If you want a guided tour, then this tour is a good choice.

It was worth the early (5.00am) start the tour was well organzied from Pick-up to the meeting of our tour/bus driver who was well informed and intersting
On the island the waterfall,canyon and the fern grotto was great to see, would recommend this day trip to all sue Bellamy.

Completed this tour in March 2013. Very happy with the morning tour of the area and canyon views. We felt that the afternoon of river cruise to the fern grotto was a waste of our time. very disappointed with not being able to go up to the fern grotto and having to be satisfied with photos at a distance and hawain entertainment on the viewing platform. Not much to see on the river.

The bus was too big (50 pax), and as a consequence we spent most of the time by picking up and dropping off people from and to their hotels.
By the way I was suppose to be picked up at 8:15 in the morning, but the bus has arrived at 9:00 (that was comprehensible related to the number of participants), without even saying a "sorry for the delay". The tour gives an overall view of the island, but some aspects of the tour must be improved.

I have nothing negative to write about this tour. The guides were personable, funny and knowledgeable. We saw more than we expected to see and learned so much about the history and local lore of the island. We had a great time! Money very well spent.

Positive-visited some beautiful sites.Negative-tour guide did not greet us at the airport/didn't leave his bus - we had to find him. He did not provide an itinerary or map-we never knew where we were going next.
