This is a great outing! A short canoe trip up a beautiful, gentle river, followed by the zipline and a really great hike back to the river. The tour operator staff on site was fantastic, knowledgable and very helpful.
Kauai is a very pretty island and I'd advise that all visitors should try and see it from the air. I was surprised at how inexpensive an hour’s flight round the island was, and got more photos from this flight than the all of the rest of the trip combined. The flight flies a loop out to the steep sea cliffs at the far side of the island before passing between the mountains (taking in a view of the highest / wettest point) and flying over the more lowland areas to finish off with an arial view of a waterfall into a cenote like feature. The tour firm pick you up from and drop you back at your hotel and ensure that you get at least one photo of yourself standing in front of the plane. The only slight issues were that towards the end of the flight the turbulence was becoming stomach churning to the point where I couldn't have taken much more, and the flight was about 5 minutes short of the hour. Other than that the cloud base was high enough for us to see everything and I'd strongly recommend this tour as you’ll see swathes of the island that you simply can’t see by any other means.

Good flight and saw all the island and even whales swimming in the sea. This flight showed us what a beautiful island Kauai is.

Outstanding scenery and magnificent views - Kauai by air is spectacular in its diversity. The staff were very friendly, organized, pilot was excellent, aircraft we had was in excellent condition and offered great viewing - a window each for all 5 of us. Having done Kauai some years ago by helicopter, this air tour compares very well -- quieter, flies surprisingly slowly, smoother, excellent for photography, though you don't get quite as close into the deep valleys. All up, a MUST DO!
Our guide was great. I really enjoyed the zipline. My 8 year old son loved it! The hike through the rain forest was pretty cool. The two rope swings were awesome. The only part I didn't care for was the tractor ride to see the pigs and cows. I'm from the midwest and I can see that anytime!
It was good, more zip line will be great.
The airplane tour over the island of Kauai was remarkable. I definitely would do this again on my next trip to Hawaii.
