Well organized and very informative! Not to mention fun!

Excellent trip! We were able to see everything we wanted to see, and more! They had us stay in a very cute little B and B in Killarney. The lady who owned it was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent! The tour guides all had wonderful information, and gave us lots of great little tidbits everywhere we went. Would have liked to have more time at the Cliffs of Moher, but other than that everything was incredible!

This was an outstanding tour with first class guides and quality accommodation. We have booked through Viator for other parts of an extended trip and can only hope that this high standard is maintained.

Everything worked well. It was organized perfectly. The guides (especially Bob) were great. I would recommend it to my friends.

Lovely countryside. Very much enjoyed the bed and breakfast- Copper Kettle. It was geat to see so much of the country and learn so much about the history.

The trip was very nice but when I booked the trip, I was advised that our luggage would be taken care of for me but that is not the case as you need to transfer your own luggage to/from the train and bus. Also, the coach bus does not have a restroom so if you are traveling with older people or children, the 2.5 bus ride can be a bit difficult.
The holel in Killarney was an ideal spot and very nice hotel. The hotel opens for breakfast at 7:30a but our transfer picked us up at 7:15a so we were unable to eat before taking a two hour car ride to meet the coach bus (an additional 45 minutes) to take us to the Bunratty Castle. After the Bunratty tour, we were back on the bus another 2 hours before stopping for lunch (No place to eat at Bunratty). I highly recommend packing snacks..
I also feel that we didn't have enough time at the Blarney Castle and too much time in Cove.
I do want to mention that the tour guides were great! We wanted to see a lot in the short time that we were there so I understand time constraints are difficult.
At one point the bathroom on the train was out of order so we had to use the restroom at the station before connecting to the coach but were told that another bus would not have waited..? I recommend that the tour allow for bathroom breaks between transfers.

Plenty of time to stop and see the sights and all the history and info given about the places we were seeing. Dennis our driver couldn't have been nicer, even taking photos of us if we needed him to. A great day out.

IT WAS AGREAT WAY TO TOUR AND SEE HOGHLIGHTS OF IRELAND. TRIP WAS VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND GUIDES WERE VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEGABLE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

The entire package was well organized. Our guide on the first and last day, Bob Beatty was exceptionally good and very well informed. He gave us loads of inputs and useful tips. Michael, our driver and guide for the 'Ring of Kerry' tour was also very pleasing and good. 'Beauty's Home', at Killarney, where we spent 2 nights, was a very clean, homely and comfy B and B - well run by Katherine. She was very warm and welcoming and treated us to lavish Irish breakfasts. Due to the hazardous weather conditions on the 'Cliffs of Moher', we were unable to climb to the top and our coach hatch and windscreen ripped open! However, thanks to our driver, Michael and guide, Bob, we were sent a back-up coach within half an hour and safely tranferred to Galway. An incredible and highly recommended experience on the whole!!

The trip was great and I highly recommend it. Our tour guides were informational and funny. Everybody was in good spirits and with great atmosphere to make new friends. The accomodation in Killarny was excellent too. Going for it was a good decision. Thanks!

What a great trip! The guides were very knowledgeale and the sites were spectactular.
It was my first trip to Ireland, but certainly not my last. Slainte.

I enjoyed the tour very much. the tour guides were all excellent and very helpful. beautiful things to see everywhere. I skipped the last day but had good company on my way back to Dublin. the only complaint that I had was not much help carrying/pulling suitcase. it was large and heavy and for almost $800 I thought there would be more help. one is pretty much on one's own during the whole tour, with lots of getting on/off trains and buses. lovely people on the tour and I did enjoy it very much.

The trip was awesome. Great tour guides and drivers. My only problem was that our train was late getting back to Dublin and our tour guide (Billy) offered to have the airport shuttle drop us off on the way as our hotel was out that way. We had planned on taking a cab but he wanted to save us some money. when he saw the bus was not there, he physically pushed us on to an electric train and told us which bus to catch. He did not tell us where to get off the train and we had no idea of where we were. Someone with limited english on the train assisted us best she could. She had us get off at her stop and then found out which bus would be going by. It was a dimly lighted area and the bus would not be there for 45 minutes. We finally found a cab. the driver informed us that we were in a very unsafe neighborhood. We were scared and upset and angry.

Met a good friend of mine in Ireland just last week, she is currently backpacking through Scotland and England and needed a break. I told her not to worry about a thing, I’d book everything. I found a site in the US called Viator and started to read their reviews of trips in Ireland and decided to pre-book Railtour’s Grand Atlantic Tour and in addition made a last minute decision to book their trip to Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway. I couldn’t be happier with my trip. Dave was our tour guide the first day and once we departed the train, John became our bus driver. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about all our stops and was more than willing to take photos for us. Michael ended the tour on the first night getting us on the proper train into Killarney. Catherine picked us up at the train station and brought us to our accommodations for the evening. The next morning we boarded a bus for the Ring of Kerry tour. Dennis was the bus driver, he too was very knowledgeable. The third day of our tour had us meeting up with Dave again to do the Cliffs of Moher. Tom was our bus driver on this tour. Our fourth day was suppose to be to Connemara, but the company needed to cancel it due to construction, etc. in that area. In turn we were offered the Aran Island tour at no extra cost. The fifth day of our tour we met up with Branden at Connolly station and boarded the train to Belfast. Allen met us at the pickup sight with his bus and off we went. If you’re going to Ireland you’d be foolish not to take a Railtour tour. The company and their employees, especially those mentioned, will make your trip a memorable one. Thanks to all who assist making our trip a fantastic and memorable experience.

My trip was excellent. South West Ireland is an amazing and a very beautiful place, definitely a must-do visit.

My tour operator was very good.....right from the schedule, guides (decency, courtesy and information), accomodation were perfent
