1. I liked the tour.Lots of fun and very interestin.
2. I greatly disliked the bed and breakfest "beaty's Home".
The room was very uninviting and unpleasant. Same goes for the bathroom.
For the price we paid for the tour , we expected more for the sleeping accomodation.
3. I also was not too happy that on the second day of the tour the bus driver was also our tour guide.Long ours of driving and guiding at the same time,is not such a great idea.
Other tours I took in the past had two people doing the job; a driver and a duide.

Wonderful scenery. Great guide/driver. The

highlight. Awesome trip.

Excellent trip.Tour guide, Dennis, was so good.Very informative and funny.Would really recommend it.

I had the most wonderful time on my tour. My guide for day one and four was Norman and he was truly fantastic! His stories and wealth of information made for a truly enjoyable tour. My only request was that I wish our tour was able to spend more time at Cliffs of Moher and in Galway.

It was a well run tour - very pleased with everything from the tour guides - Bob B.,Eilish,Dennis M., and Jim. The train, bus, and cab connections were spot on also. The B and B accommodation was fabulous - the owner Eugene was friendly, helpful, And very personable and his Irish breakfasts were yummy. Plus, his home was very neat and clean and comforatable!

This was by far the BEST trip of our entire 2-month itinerary. I am so pleased with the service, especially of the family from Killarney and the tour office there. Our guides were ALL amazing. It was completely hassle-free, laid-back, fun, entertaining, and enlightening. DO this tour!

Good trip very interesting lots to see. Driver Dennis excellent very knowledgeable Good amount of stops so didn't feel sitting on coach to long.

An excellent tour that takes you to the best of Ireland. In Cork and Limerick only a short orientation tour from the bus is included and you don't actually get to walk in the town. Also be aware that the visits to the 2 castles are very rushed (Blarney and Bunratty). Especially at Blarney be prepared for queues from hell. Having queued for 20 minutes to enter Blarney castle I gave up but the grounds are themselves worth exploring including a pre-historic site. Also the guided tour at Bunratty castle doesn't leave you with enough time to walk around the folk village as well so you might find that you have to choose what you do. However, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula are the true highlights of this tour and there you do get the time with plenty of stops for photos and to take in the gorgeous scenery. The hotel in Killarney was also a good quality 3-star hotel. The only issue I had on this tour was that the Railtour hosts were sometimes in confusion as to who was doing what and it didn't look like anything you said to them could help. In Killarney when I arrived for the Dingle tour there was no host available to assist and when she eventually arrived she got busy on the phone dealing with other non-Railtour business so she was still not available to help. There seem to be communication/organisation issues with the hosts that don't inspire much confidence. However, they are very nice and friendly and I would go on this tour again.

Blarney Castle was the highlight of this trip for me.

Doing what: Ring of Kerry Rail Trip from Dublin

The Ring of Kerry is an absolutely beautiful place! We really enjoyed all the stops along the way, especially the sheep herding demonstration. However, the town that we had lunch didn't have many options, so make sure you bring a snack with you. Definitely worth taking this tour!

The areas we visited were gorgeous and the coaches were quite comfortable. We *loved* our coach driver/guide for the Connemara tour - he really added a lot of interesting information and experiences! Galway and Connemara were my favorite parts of the trip. Ring of Kerry was beautiful but rainy, and the Cliffs of Moher were of course awesome but were crowded. We felt that the first 3 days were lacking in some important details, such as when to get off the coach for a specific accommodation, or where exactly to meet up at the end of a tour. In the case of where to meet up with the rest of the group: the tour guide should probably stand in a single, obvious location as a beacon, since each member doesn't necessarily recognize the other members of the group in a busy setting, but our guide was not always good about staying in obvious locations. The B and B we stayed in at KIllarney was nice but it was cold in our room and the lady who runs the place was obviously annoyed that we were asking for the heat to be turned up every evening. I wouldn't want to stay there again, simply for that reason - you don't want to return from a rainy tour to a cold room where you have to wear your coat indoors. We also wished we had more time at the stops -- it seemed like we had barely enough time to see each stop and maybe go through the gift shop but time was tight and we were often afraid of being left behind.

We were quite disappointed with this trip, particularly considering the cost. The tour of Cork is brief, it's simply what you drive past on the way to Blarney Castle. The Castle was interesting and we enjoyed wandering around the gardens. The time spent in Cobh was to some degree a waste; while the exhibit on the Titanic and the potato famine was interesting, we didn't need that much time there, but there wasn't enough time after to properly explore the town. Our accommodations were lovely, however on the third morning you leave so early that breakfast at the bed and breakfast isn't possible. The second day was quite disappointing; the highlight of it was the sheepdog exhibition. Otherwise it was a very long, wandering drive, with random spots. We were particularly disappointed in the lunch stop, which was expensive and was quite frankly the worst meal we had on our entire trip...however there was not another option for a place to eat. The third day was better; we enjoyed the Cliffs of Moher, however didn't have enough time to wander the cliffs and enjoy the exhibit. So even though we paid for the exhibit we never got to see it. Overall, I would not recommend this trip and the price was ridiculous.

Doing what: Ring of Kerry Rail Trip from Dublin

This is probably a great trip if you started in Kilarney. It wears you out to ride the train from Dublin 3 hours one way and then start the tour. Then when you finish taking 3 more hours on the train back, you are exhausted.

Doing what: Full Day Tour of The Ring of Kerry

This was one of our least favorite experiences in Ireland. There are great views, but the bus stops at several tourist traps and at these there was an additional fee. The only lunch option was one "pub" obviously set up for the buses. Our guide promised reasonably priced good food, but it was slop, huge vats of stuff ladled out as you went through the line and super overpriced. Cost way more than made to order lunches. Would not do ring of Kerry this way again.

Wonderful tour! Comfortable bus, knowledgeable, fun driver/guide, great food stops. Only negative was the rain. We had fun despite the weather.
