Interesting tour and both the guides were good. the pace was also pretty good so i enjoyed it very much.
I couldn't fault any aspect of this tour except that due to the huge numbers of people there, we found the speed of the actual tour very fast to take everything in. The guides seemed to be under pressure to get through in a rigid time slot.
The salt mine itself was incredible and well worth seeing.
WAS A VERY GOOD TOUR VERY INTERESTING. JUST ONE COMPLAINT WAS I PHONED TO ASK TO BE PICKED UP NEAR MY HOTEL ANDEL'S WAS TOLD NO WE DONT YOU HAVE TO GO TO SHEARTON HOTEL BUT ON WAY BACK THE GUIDE SAID YES WE DO DROP YOU OFF WHICH I WAS VERY ANNOYED AT THAT BECAUSE I'M MIDDLE AGE LADY ON MY OWN HAD TO WALK QUITE DISTANCE TO PICK UP THE COACH SO THE STAFF IN POLAND OF YOUR COMPANY NEED TO ADVISE CUSTOMERS CORRECTLY
I was not picked up at the site I was told to wait at. I had to take a taxi, at my expence to catch up with the bus. The tour itself was good, kinda of a fun place to visit.
This was a wonderful if tiring experience! Warning to the out-of-shape: Just because you are walking DOWN the 382 steps, it is still a strenuous exercise. AND it doesn't end there. Many more steps appear throughout the tour. You will walk A LOT and your calf muscles will remind you of your experience the following day. But it is worth it as the mine is a unique place and the tour guides do an excellent job of explaining, herding, and accounting for each person they lead into the mine. The chapel is beautiful and there are opportunities for snack and toilet breaks under ground.
Excellent trip in every respect. Well organised, very good English speaking guide. Must be the best mine visit anywhere, a real wow. We need not have worried about all the stairs, they were much easier than anticipated. Recommended as a "must do" if you have the time whilst in Krakow.
Fascinating tour. The salt mines are incredible and well worth a visit. Those who have difficulty walking should be aware that the descent down 360 steps can be quite strenuous
A very interesting and amazing experiance everything went as planned including the hotel pick up. The salt mine was better than we expected with chapels, an underground church and even underground lakes.
Very enjoyable. Excellent guide for tour . Toilets available at Mine entrance and also twice when underground + refreshments!!
A fascinating place and a wonderful experience. We would have liked to have spent a little longer in the communal areas to take in the surroundings enjoying a tea or coffee, but the Cracow Tours guide was in a rush to speed things along as she was desperate to avoid a wait for the lift. Consequently we were unable to peruse the souvenir stalls.
