Auschwitz-Birkenau: This is a very detailed trip. I personally was overwhelmed by the horrors that went on. The guide we had was very informative. The time we went was snowy and freezing which put things even more into perspective. I wish I had never had to make such a trip, but, I am glad I did to pay my respects.
Wieliczka Salt Mine: this trip was amazing. Because there are so many tourists it felt at times we felt we were on a conveyor belt. There is a lot of walking involved so make sure you are prepared.
Well worth the money and buying both tickets together ☺

We visited both tours. Glad it was over two days as was not rushed. When you first get there and see the amount of people there you think it is going to be rushed but they have everything off to a tee. The tours leaders were very helpful and friendly. The only time it got confusing was what group you were in. Very moving

We had a fantastic weekend in Krakow and the trips are a must - they were very well organised with pick up and drop off at our hotel - the mini buses we travelled in were very comfortable with knowledgeable drivers and guides. Will certainly be going back to Krakow to see other sights and will be booking trips through Viator again!

Both trips were very good due to the knowledge of the guides. We were picked up on time and well informed of what was happening for the day. The tours were well organised and we were lucky with the weather. I will reccommend both tours.

As sombre an experience visiting Auschwitz is it is something I think everyone needs to see. The tour bus was clean and comfortable. Our guide at Auschwitz was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a must do tour.

Although I done some research on-line about Wieliczka before I went on the tour, I was still a bit unsure about how much I would enjoy this. I was very surprised. This is definetly something everyone who visits Poland should do. Amazing just begins to describe it. Yes it is very touristy and yes there were crowds, but the way it is laid out and organized, I never once felt like were were being rushed or packed in with hundreds of other people. Other places could learn a lesson from the company that runs the mine. Our english speaking guide was charming with a great sense of humor. She said at one point during the tour that although the Polish Crown Jewels had been lost in a battle many years ago, this mine is like their crown jewel, and that was perfectly said.

The tour was very interesting led by a guide from the mine. We had headphones and he had a microphone.

Excellent value for money but the guide at Auschwitz,Birkenau spoke too much
and the guide at the Salt Mine was in too much of a hurry with the result that no
time was given to purchase anything in the shop and insufficient time in the restaurant.
By the time we had purchased anything there was no time to eat it properly, thank goodness the soup was only warm but had to leave drinks. The guide then took off
at 100 mph with everybody more or less running behind her. Got the impression
that she had to be back for her next tour or/and back for the bus driver who also
appeared to be in a hurry.
