Mr. Merat, our guide was outstanding in all respects. Very knowledgeable! There were only 5 of us on this excursion and the van was almost new and comfortable. Only downside was the long carpet presentation at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Kusadasi Shore Excursion: Ephesus Sightseeing Tour
We were met by our guide right where I expected him to be.. We were ten minutes early.. he was there.!. along with another couple that had just arrived. The 4 of us with Murat and his driver then left about 5 minutes earlier than expected in a 15 passenger , very nice, Mercedes van.. Our guide did a great job and the fact that there were just 4 people in the group sure beat chasing around with 60. I could have done without the semi hard sell visit to a carpet operation.. But the lunch there was fine and the people., while trying to sell carpets were very nice. and the carpets were wonderful... however they can be found all over.. and one needs to really understand what the business is about.. It is really art.. If you like it and can afford it buy it.. But should it be part of a tour to Ephesus.. probably not unless requested.
Would I use Viator again.. Definitely Yes.. Good price , great tour and small group with excellent vehicle.. Never rushed and all questions answered in a fun way.. We had a great day.. Darrell and Louise Jansa

Everything about the tour was perfect. The vehicle was really comfortable, the tour guide outstanding and the programme extremely well organised. Anothet highlite was the traditional lunch. I can really recommend this visit to anyone!

Our guide, Ismael, was very well informed and spoke excellent English. Old Ephesus was definitely the highlight and was not very crowded the day we went. Mary's home and John's church were also fascinating. The Turkish lunch was quite good and the carpet weaving demonstration educational.

Doing what: Kusadasi Shore Excursion: Ephesus Sightseeing Tour
Our guide was lovely but I was disappointed that we were taken on an unscheduled visit to a rug factory. I can't choose a rug in half an hour but I could have spent some money back at the port with other stall holders if there was more time. I felt kidnapped! Ephesus and St John's Basilica and the house of the Virgin Mary were amazing.

The tour guide was knowledgeable, but he had a very heavy accent, and we could only understand a small portion of what he said. Unfortunately this really diminished our enjoyment and appreciation of the sites. I would not recommend this particular tour because of our very disappointing experience

Doing what: Kusadasi Shore Excursion: Private Tour to Ephesus including Basilica of St John and Temple of Artemis
Wow! What a place. Our guide was knowledgable and took his time with us. I learned so many things and had a great time. Ephesus is a highlight and a must see. Only surprise was the rug stop but we were in Turkey.

A great excursion with a very knowledgeable, English speaking guide. Great value for the price.

This was a great tour. I would highly recommend anyone to take it. Our tour guide was wonderful, with a great personality. There was so much to see and hear, but he was able to manage this with great experience. Not too much information, but enough for you to understand and experience the history.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide. As it turned out there were only 4 people on the tour which made it even better. The guide was very clear and a first class communicator. We had good time at all the locations and a delicious lunch in the gardens of the carpet co-operative. The carpets were beautiful and good value as works of art. Would not hesitate to go again on this tour. Great value too.

There isnt anything to see in Kusadasi so a trip to Ephesus is an absolutely must! It was pretty amazing and our guide was very good. Its pretty overwhelming, how big it really is and I really enjoyed Mary House.

Excellent tour, excellent guide. She took her time to explain everything and we had plenty of time to take pictures. The lunch was excellent - the first time I've ever had lamb prepared that was very tasty. The yogurt and carrot dish was yummy! Mary's House site was very serene. Highly recommended.

Been there before but needed to re-experience as Ephesus is such an outstanding place..Again small group compared to the big groups on ship tours. The site speaks for itself as it is a must-great informative guide who gave us great info and steered us through the masses.Recommend also the itinerary with House of Virgin and the old monastrey on hill.Excellent lunch nearby but had to pay for water. We finished with mandatory visit to carpet place which was a school for locals to learn skills. One of instructors gave presentation. He was an Australian Turk from Warrilla NSW-low key with free drinks Dropped off later in Kusadasi for shopping.Do this tour-you will not be disappointed!
