Great tour with good tour guide. However some of the site visited maybe a little to short as it would be better to spend longer time.

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
Positive: Well organised, good guides and interesting sites. Excellent lunch
Negative: Expensive, No response to my e-mail request for hotel pick up.
Summary: Despite the cost and inflexibility regarding pick-up, it is the only way to see Kyoto.

Tour guide was entertaining but we felt that there was too much time wasted after lunch waiting for the afternoon tour to commence

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
Amazing places! Yoshi, our morning tour guide, was excellent, with his knowledge of the places, his jokes, and even his short tutorial on written Japanese. We recommend full-day instead of half-day tours for 1st timers as there is just so much to see. We would recommend viator to our friends.

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
The tour guide was given a very detail and clear explanation. But due to tracffic issue, the time spend at Kiyomizu Temple was too short. So end up it was quite rush during visit to Kiyomizu Temple.

If you only have 1 day in Kyoto this is the tour for you. You won't get a lot of time to really sit back and enjoy the sites but you will see a lot. The Lunch wasn't the best but the sites and guides are fantastic!

Doing what: Kyoto Full-Day Sightseeing Tour including Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple
I was kinda frustrated not seeing the Sakura in full bloom. I was imagining the flowers in the shrine, temples, parks, even across the street and the thought of it seems so splendid! But, nonetheless I have no regrets joining the tour. The tourist guide gives her best to tell us a brief history of their culture and tradition which I find very informative and interesting. I also love the lunch included in the package. One can never go wrong in choosing Japan as their travel destination. Thank you Viator for making it easy for the tourist see all these amazing and historical places.
