My twin and I opted for this trip which was marred by the weather. We understand that the tour company diesn't control that but as there was no air con in the minibus the windows kept steaming so we couldn't really see out all morning. If you like tours we would say this is worth doing if you can book last minute and guarantee the weather.

Gorgeous, gorgeous scenery! I loved the passes, the meres, the slate mine, the boat ride on Ullswater! Our guide was so gregarious and knowledgeable. Because I am a language and literature major, I appreciated his explanation of the Viking origin of so many of the place names, the detour he asked our coach to take so I could see Wordsworth's house, even his explanation of the sorts of sheep we were seeing. The day flew by. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

A really nice way to spend a day at Lakes District, especially if you don't have a car with you. The tour takes you all over and our guide was so knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Loved it!

An excellent day. The driver helped make it more special (TONY) he cheered us up on a very very wet day.I don't think we have ever seen so much rain. However we loved the trip thank you.

Really enjoyed this trip. A very comprehensive tour of many of the lakes in the Lake District. The driver was excellent, a mine of information.

Excellent visitor experience. As an amateur photographer, I would want to have a few more photo stops, particularly at the points where the panoramic scenery was so beautiful from the tour bus.

I enjoyed tour very much. the Lindeth Howe Hotel was very good, the staff very helpful. They answered all my questions and were very kind. The Mountain Goat tours were very good, the guides, bus drivers were very knowledgable. It was a delightful experience.

Disappointing.Hotel very expensive and out of town.Four days were really one full day tour AND one half day tour. day one was check into hotel, and day four was check out of hotel. Mountain Goat tours were very good. The four days would be better spent arranging own hotel, tours and activities closer to Bowness.

We saw some beautiful country on this trip. Our guide was interesting and informative. Our boat ride on one of the lakes was relaxing. We would definitely recommend this tour.

My husband and I took this tour on our 9th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the breathtaking mountain views and lake cruise. Our tour guide was knowlegleable, personable, and went out of his way to make our tour enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to anyone in a heartbeat!
