Doing what: Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay Cruise on M.S. Dixie II
Beautiful boat ride. Scenery was fantastic .Thought we booked the ride and a free lunch. We mentioned it to the boss, I can't remember his name, a great guy, and he gave us lunch free. A very enjoyable day. Oh....We thought we left with plenty of time to get there, but it took us about 45 min. just to turn into the parking lot which cost $8 per car. Emerald Bay is a busy place. Take the shuttle or leave extra early.

Doing what: Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay Cruise on M.S. Dixie II
Lake Tahoe was beautiful. The cruise however was very disappointing. NOT WORTH $47.50.
Even if I had paid $20 I would have felt ripped off.
Had to pay additional $8 for parking. Could not hear narration on deck due to old speaker system. Trip consisted of going across lake into Emerald Bay, seeing mansion and going back . A drive around the lake including Emerald Bay would have been more satisfying not to mention much cheaper!!!!!!

Doing what: Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay Cruise on M.S. Dixie II
The MS Dixie was undergoing maintenance so we were given the Tahoe Queen instead. A thoroughly enjoyable time - fantastic cruise on the Lake, crew all really nice, very informative and we enjoyed every last second of it. Thank you

Quite enjoyable but . . . I thought it was Mark Twain interactive on Saturdays???? Waiters were overwhelmed, but kept their smiles in place. An annoyance was one person who thought he was exempt from the NO smoking policy!

This trip is nothing special. We sat up on deck and could not hear anything except Mark Twain talking!

Doing what: Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay Cruise on M.S. Dixie II
Weather was great for cruise but going from Zephyr Cove directly across the southern part of Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay was long - both ways. You can only see things on the shore line from a distance. Emarald Bay was nice to see but not that spectacular - worth seeing though. Some speakers outside on the bow and stern were not working and the narration could not be heard. Mark Twain (dressed character) was informative - best part of the cruise in myu opinion.

Doing what: Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay Cruise on M.S. Dixie II
Last year we did the evening paddlewheel cruise on Lake Tahoe and it was wonderful - but the afternoon tour is even better. You can see more - the lunch menu is superb - and it was less crowded and we could really move around more. Mark Twain was excellent as a commentator. Really enjoyed this!

It was a beautiful day. We couldn't hear the speakers so missed out on a lot of the history. Otherwise, it was a nice cruise.

The food was ok, not great. The trip is fairly long overall. The commentator was a nice touch, but his corny "schtick" got old after two hours.

My husband and I fully enoyed our cruise on the M.S. Dixie II. It provided a breathtaking and memorable experience.
