We could not have been more pleased with our West Rim Tour. The helicopter and boat ride made it perfect. Because of time limit, we skipped the first stop but made the other three. My husband did not get too close to the edge but I enjoyed the view quite close up. The meal at stop 4 was delicious and everyone was so courteous. We really enjoyed our bus driver - tour guide.
Deciding which trip to choose took me forever, but this option turned out to be just perfect for us, me and my husband. It was our first trip to Grand Canyon and the place was amazing. Viator's communication worked perfectly although our first booking was cancelled - however, I got sms about it and got to book another one. The Maverick company that flew us to the West Rim also did a perfect job - from the hotel pick-up to Grand Canyon and back. Our trip was in early January; the wheather was a bit chilly but again there were no crowds around!
Got picked up from the hotel and head to Henderson Airport. Out pilot is very professional and kind enough to take pictures for us. The flight on the Cessna is very smooth and the view on the Hoover Dam and Colorado River is just magnificent. The Grand Canyon itself is breath-taking. So vast and deep. You really need to watch your steps while getting close to the the edge. We took our option for Skywalk. Awesome experience to walk in the sky. The deal on Viator is very competitive compared to the price our fellow tour members get from other channels. A must do in Vegas if you're planning to visit Great Canyon West Rim.
This was my second time going to the Grand Canyon West Rim and it was just as amazing as the first!
Doing what: Grand Canyon All American Helicopter Tour
Tour of a life time my wife and I loved it would recommend to a friend. Bus ride was good just did not know the difference between the South Rim and the West Rim would have chosen the west if I knew the South rim was so far and much colder but overall wonderful trip.
My two friends and I actually upgraded and did the Grand Canyon West Rim tour instead! Our experience was AMAZING!!! We had a BLAST! Our bus driver, THOMAS, was AWESOME and very knowledgeable!! We had 3 solid hours touring the West Rim and the views were absolutely breathtaking!! This is a MUST SEE!
We had a really great driver calked Dwayne who entertained us throughout the tour. Stunning scenery and beautiful weather made the day very enjoyable. If you want to visit the Grand Canyon during the winter months the West Rim is undoubtably the best area to visit. The Skywalk was awesome!
Wow and Wow, excellent rip, good views from the West Rim, made us think about the helicopter ride for next time
this tour was incredibly well organised and very enjoyable. the driver Kenny was polite, professional, and entertaining. the south rim is hailed as the better views but I would recommend the west rim because of the great organisation, the fun ranch with a tasty lunch and the perfect amount of time.
Absolutely loved this trip. We went to the west rim and paid a bit extra for a helicopter ride and boat ride on the Colorado river. The helicopter ride was amazing, and the boat trip was a nice added extra which allowed us to get some great pictures. The bus journey there was quite long but worth it
american goverament shut it down so we transfered to the west rim bus tour and it was fantastic ..the cowboys and indians tribe were brilliant...
This was a fantastic tour to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. You get a 15 min stop at the highway bridge over the Hoover Dam, a quick photo stop. Really it's plenty of time to be awed by the view of the dam!
Then the bus will take you to the Canyon - we did the Helicopter and Boat option and I am so very glad we did. The tour company said only 1-2% of visitors that go to the Canyon ever make it down to the floor, so would highly recommend doing so! You can upgrade to the Heli option when you check in for the tour if you like.
After the helicopter and boat bits (about 90 mins) you can then visit the three other stops at the West Rim. This tour gave us about 4 hours total at the Canyon which was just enough, and with careful time management, you can see everything! We loved it and would highly recommend anyone considering this tour to do the whole thing - after all, is it likely you'll go to the Grand Canyon again?!
Me and my friend from the UK had a ball! From the very beginning where we got picked up in a limo by "Awesome" Anthony to the actual Helicopter tour which flew over the Hoover Dam and the west rim of the Grand Canyon! We even got to land down in the Canyon where we had an excellent advantage point to take some great photos...and have a cheeky glass of Champagne! Overall, the tour was amazing. Highly recommended!

Very much worth the time and money. The view of the Hoover Dam was outstanding and the view of the Grand Canyon from the Skywalk was breathtaking. My only suggestion is that if you want to add the skywalk as an option, you will not be allowed to take personal pictures. The only pictures that can be taken on the skywalk is by the park professional photographers. You can get great pictures from the edge on the West Rim. Save your money unless you just want to experience the skywalk.
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed this tour. We were picked up at a nearby hotel since we were staying at the Venetian and we opted to get picked up at the Wynn early and the bus driver was nice enough to wait 10 more minutes for us since we were on our way. He was very friendly and the bus was very spacious and comfortable on our way to the welcome center. We then changed buses on our way to the Hoover Dam lookout with another bus driver, Thomas, who was very knowledgeable, made the ride smooth, and most of all had a great sense of humor. The lookout on this memorial bridge gave us a very nice view of the Hoover Dam and we also got a nice pic of the Welcome to Nevada sign.
Then it was on our way to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Thomas was very informative along the way to let us know how the tour works, what we need to do/bring, even the best meal along the 3 viewpoints we got on the tour. Four hours doesn't sound like much but it actually was way more than we needed. We were able to visit each viewpoint without even feeling rushed and soaked in enough of each view that we got great shots with our camera phones. The best experience was at the last viewpoint, Guano Point, where we had a delicious meal of BBQ beef, veggies, tea/coffee. We then got to go up pretty far at this viewpoint to get good shots of the canyon and even talked with some local Mexican workers there who were very nice and courteous. The workers were even nice enough to give me extra cookies/pop tarts? which were so yummy we saved them for the bus ride back. The shuttle to each viewpoint came very fast almost every 2 minutes and got to the next viewpoint fairly quickly. Some main tips is to make sure to pay attention to your bus driver for instructions, take in all the viewpoints, get to your pickup area on time, and lastly choose a visit date in which the weather is more favorable warm with a little breeze as it was very cold that day which was a slight downside.
