This was a great day although very hot. Could have done with more time at the Canyon, and due to a passenger being late we spent less time at the Hoover Dam which was disappointing. The PA in the bus was also disappointing. But words cannot describe the Grand Canyon.

we were very pleased with the tour to Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam as it was very much explained to the detail of exciting points..very good...

WOW!!! Bus driver Duane was awesome! Hoover Dam was amazing! The Scenery from Vegas to Grand Canyon was excellent. Staff at Grand Canyon were awesome. The guy that took our Pictures at the Sky walk was the best! My wife thought he did a better job than the photographer at our wedding. Skywalk was awesome and the overall view of the grand canyon from the 2 points we visited was spectacular. If your going to Vegas and need a day to get away from the city take this trip. Its worth every dollar! Never in my life have I been so amazed!

Doing what: Lake Mead Dinner Cruise

this day trip made our holiday. the staff, boat and hoover dam were brillant, Im a 50yr with my daughter of 21 and her friends which were 34 and 26 we all agreed, would highly recommended to all ages.

It would have been much better if the bus was on time to collect. The tour was extremely informative but there wasn't enough time given to stay at each attraction given the number of tourists waiting to get on the Skywalk. In fact we waited over one hour just to get on to the Skywalk itself. Hoover Dam was great only we did not stay due to the fact we were running late

PERFECT! Loved it; everything about it. The bus trip was comfortable, the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was AWESOME, the buffet lunch was great. Would definitely recommend to others!

Seeing the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was amazing and breath-taking but our bus driver/tour guide, Manny, left something to be desired. His thick accent made it difficult to understand anything he said. We wish we would have had a bus driver we could understand so that we got the full "tour" experience and got to hear about the wonderful sights on our way to the Grand Canyon!
Also, we were not informed ahead of time that we would have to switch busses several times during the tour. We switched at the tour office, once we got to the reservation, at every view-point/stop at the Grand Canyon and then again when we left the reservation. This made the tour more stressful and much less relaxing and enjoyable.
We had plenty of time at the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam and lunch was very good, but overall some important information was left out of the tour description. Had we been more informed of these inconveniences it would have been less upsetting.

My wife and I highly recommend this trip. Kevin our driver was very courteous and knowledgeable of the entire area we travelled. We are amazed at the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam and will have these memories for ever. This is a terrific tour facility and they use quality motor coaches for your comfort. Highly Recommended

My rating refers to the tour provided rather than the Grand Canyon (GC). After being woken up at 4.45am! by the tour company reminding us to get up (our pick up was 6.05) we were shuttled to a 'check-in' location where we`waited approx 30 mins before boarding the main bus. On the main bus, the driver talked and talked giving us useless info - including repetitively telling us our food options at the GC and telling us not to be late or we would be left behind. We stopped at a bridge overlooking the Hoover Dam for 20 mins (disappointing) and then spent the same amount of time at a food/beverage stop at the side of the road! The bus didn't take us directly to the GC and we had to transfer to another bus for the final 20 miles. I expected to be able to walk a lot at the GC but there is a very structured shuttle bus system to take you from point to point. BEWARE: there are no barriers here along the edge - it is a sheer drop. Guano Point (2nd stop) was definetely the best view. The ranch was touristy. Despite the warnings we were 30 mins delayed getting back to Las Vegas as someone was late getting back to the bus!! For what we paid, it was good-ish value for money. If we went again we would go independently or on a smaller or more tailored tour. We wish we had taken a helicopter!

Doing what: Ultimate Hoover Dam Tour

an excellent and informative trip to the Hoover Dam,The Tour guide was a comedian, literally, kept us all entertaiined as well as being a great guide. I would highly recommend this trip. Great price from Viator too.

There are a lot of negative remarks on the way this tour is stuctured, but don't let them scare you off. We were picked up at the Excalibur and brought to "home base" where we got off the bus to be checked in and recieve the proper id for the tour options you picked. We then reboarded and headed out. We stopped for a bathroom/souvenier break, where we transferred to different busses for the long trip on mostly unpaved road. When we got to the Grand Canyon there were busses to take you to the 3 sites you can visit. Was it tiring? Yes. Was it excessively annoying?, no. I think it depends on the kind of person you are and what your expectations are. It was all worth it to see the breathtaking canyon. Do the skywalk too! It's not a big deal to out your things in a free locker for a few minutes. The professional pics are worth it in my opinion. The only downer? The breakfast was very small. Coffe, Juice, Small Danish. Grab something to eat on the way before you board the bus. You won't be sorry. Oh, the stop @ the Hoover Dam requires a lot a stairs, but there is a ramp you can walk also. Brief photo op. You are not going to be AT the dam but you can certainly see and admire the feat of enginering. Tour guide was hokey (aren't they all?), and sweet, and funny. Once in a lifetime experiance. GO!!!

Really loved the day trip to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Our bus driver was awesome and the whole trip was amazing. I would definately recommend this trip!

Doing what: Lake Mead Dinner Cruise

So pleased we booked this, a wonderful evening. Lovely food, lovely staff and so different to the Strip! Comfortable coach picked us up from the hotel, took us to check in at their office (takes 5 mins) and then drove us to Lake Mead, not far from the Strip at all. It was a shame the ferry departs at 6.30pm as we just got to the Hoover Dam when 5 minutes later the sun set. However, I really would recommend this trip :)

Our trip to the Grand Canyon was excellent. We encountered one problem at the Hoover Dam. Leaving the Hoover Dam was delayed by at least 30 minutes due to a miscount of people on the bus when we originally boarded. It took 30+ minutes and four head counts before we could leave. We saw 3 buses come and go during that time.
