Landon and Shane were our guides, and I absolutely LOVED those guys. They were funny, nice, knowledgeable, and patient! Everything you could want in guides. The ATV tour was incredible (and I was REALLY sore afterwards – but it was so worth it!) and then the drive through the Valley of Fire was perfect afterwards. After the ATV tour, we had a really nice, and VERY welcome lunch – right when I was starting to get hungry. The shade of the picnic lunch was a welcome break from the sun, but you could still enjoy the outdoors. They’d just finished putting up a Zipline at the location where you do the ATVing for this tour, and they asked if anyone wanted to do it – of course, my family (thrill seekers as we are) leapt at the opportunity. We’re glad we did! They were only charging $15 per person, and it was WAY fun. The van had nice cold Air Conditioning, and there was bottled water inside. It was a wonderful rest after such an adrenaline filled morning. I loved the petroglyphs (there’s a picture of them in the photos) and we even saw a Big Horn Sheep! I have absolutely no complaints. Even for what I was expecting this tour to be (and I expected a lot) this tour was so much more. Don’t miss it when you come to Vegas!
Absolutely awesome experience, would not of seen the canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Meade any other way. Pilot gave us so much information right from leaving to returning to the airport. Purchased a video of our flight also which had lots of added information about Las Vegas and the hotels. Best decision we made as will have this to look back on forever. Excellent tour
What an amazing experience, anyone who is thinking about doing this DO IT! It was our highlight of Vegas and we did everything. They show you sights along the route, for nervous drivers they help you along and more confident ones they take you to the front it really is worth every penny, if just for the views alone. I suprised my boyfriend for his 30th and he said it was one of the best things he's ever done.
I have been saying I was going to do a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon ever since my first trip to Vegas. I kept putting it off and putting it off but finally pulled the trigger this time. I booked a "flight only" tour, but received a call the night before my flight letting me know I had been upgraded to land at the ranch and have lunch. I ended up doing the horseback riding as well. I guess my biggest question at the end of the day was "why did you wait so long"? A teriffic experience, professionals from the pickup at the hotel to dropping me off. Everyone was very friendly, the counter staff at the facility, the cowboys and everyone else at the ranch. The pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Just an overall fantastic experience. So glad I finally did it and would definitely do it again.
OMG, this was the highlight of the trip!!!! The girls regreted that they opted out of this one, but me and the guys had a blast!!!! So much so, we are thinking of going back just to do it again. . . and gamble of course!!!
We had a great time really glad we went well worth the money. Our guide Landon was great ,really full of information about the area.
Brilliant! Collected on time, safety information given prior to tour, friendly and informative pilot and very pleasant champagne picnic. Amazing views of the Canyon and also the Strip on our return journey. Slightly cramped seating if in the back of the helicopter and if unlucky to have a full 6 passenger load.
Loved the trip, all went smoothly, pick up was bang on time, our guide "Red" was great, and looked after us all the way through. The bikes were easy to get the hang of and great fun - reached 42mph at one point.!!
We added on a zip line ride which was available at the offroad site, that was fun too, even if getting off the zip line was somewhat "interesting" as you had to climb down a freestanding ladder !!
All in all, well recommended.
