Cirque du Soleil
As much a staple to the city of Las Vegas as the Metropolitan Opera in New York, or the Bercy of Paris, Cirque du Soleil for years has entertained guests with dazzling world-class performances. Adapting conventional theatrics to the finest in drama circus arts, each show is a visual spectacle, and with so much variety, even the most stubborn drama aficionado can't miss the opportunity to see at least one.
Honored time and again as one of the best-produced shows around, "Mystère" at Treasure Island has captivated its audience for years. The breathtaking acrobatics alone are enough to entrance Soleil first-timers.
A pleasant twist on some of the most influential artists of modern time, "Viva ELVIS" at the ARIA and "The Beatles: Love" at the Mirage Hotel and Casino have become instant hits that easily encapsulate the spirit of the greatest musicians of our time.
Considered against the normal beat of Cirque du Soleil the company introduces Criss Angel's "Believe" at the Luxor Las Vegas, a show based around magic and illusions accompanied by dramatic sets and music. Meanwhile, the Bellagio's "O" is a testament to the mastery of choreography, in a water setting.
For a romantic evening, make your way over to the New York - New York Hotel and embrace the sexuality and gawk-worthiness of "Zumanity".
Last but not least, "KÀ" at the MGM Grand Hotel brings an international taste, using Japanese Kabuki theatre, traditional Brazilian Capoeira and martial arts to tell the story of separated royal twins bound for a dramatic reunification. It is an adventure that grips children and adults alike.

The pure talent and brute strength exhibited by each performer was astonishing and you find yourself almost holding your breath during the acts as your watching them swing across the stage 25ft high without a harness, balance themselves 5 people high, and swing on a trapeze doing flips in the air and catching themselves in the arms of another performer. Two thumbs way up for this amazing show!! Continue Reading »
This was the first Cirque du Soliel show I have seen in over 10 years and I was thoroughly impressed. The show starts before they even dim the lights and close the door with the usher “clown” including various members of the audience to participate in his humorous act. Every act was wonderful and they flowed nicely into the next act with the baby clown acting as brief intermissions. FANTASTIC!!! Continue Reading »
