The actual Grand Canyon trip was fantastic, but the only thing for us that seemed to slow it all down was that we were picked up in one bus and transferred to a depot where we waited (with coffee and a danish pastry) for quite a while then were put on to another bus and then a final bus for the last half hour of the journey. Same for return journey. Major plus points: fantastic bus driver, amazing stop at the Hoover Dam, great lunch at the Grand Canyon and loads to do there. Amazing photo opportunities so all in all for the price we paid we would certainly recommend this trip.

This tour was one of the best tours that I have taken from the early hotel pick-up and to the afternoon drop off. I will remember the sights of the Grand Canyon for the rest of my life. A+++

Walter our tour guide was UNBELIEVEABLE, kept us entertained the entire way to the Grand Canyon with some great information on Las Vegas and the dessert. Loved the information on the Joshua tree and so glad I recorded that part. I would have liked a little longer at Hoover Dam, but completely understand the time frame. I had thought at the beginning that we were going to be too long at the Grand Canyon, but I was wrong our time went so fast. For anyone wishing to see the Grand Canyon, this is the tour for them. I am planning another visit to Las Vegas again very soon and I will for sure book my tours with Viator!

The bus ride was long but it was made more enjoyable because of our busdriver. His name was Mike and he was great! He told us great stories and trivia about Las Vegas and the areas we were riding past. He was funny and really made the trip. The Grand Canyon and Skywalk was unbelievable!

The tour was organized very well, eventhough there was misunderstanding about my reservation, however the local tour organizer at Las Vegas gave me solution to reschedule my trip to the following day. Thanks much to Kim, the manager who could make fast decision.

Well organised, great driver, wonderful day!

Great trip, highly recommended. The driver was a lot of fun, picked up on time from hotel and dropped off on time. The Grand Canyon is magnificent.

The trip was really great but could have been a little better. I chose Viator because of some of the online reviews. The pickup arrangements were time-consuming but very efficient considering how many people were scheduled that morning and where our hotels were scatterd. Our driver Thomas was very friendly and knowledgeable- keeping us informed of where we were and where we were going to be. He was an excellent driver. The dissappointing thing was that we were not allowed to go down into or across the Hoover Dam. Just a photo op from the bridge. A friend that was with me told me that 10 years ago he was able to actually go into the dam and see the turbines and the view of the lake from the top of the dam. Since that was not even mentioned I assumed it was no longer available. There were several trips to the dam offered along the strip and I just assumed that they all would offer the same things. However when I returned home another friend who had been to the Dam just a few weeks earlier told me that his party had the opportunity to see the workings of the Dam on a different tour Company.
Still the trip was great!! the Canyon is AMAZING no matter how you get there. We had a wonderful time with great photo ops among the Hualapai Indians and the exhibits of native dwellings construction were very authentic. Many of the Indians who were there were dressed in colorful native clothing and all were very polite and our party was ever mindful of their culture and heritage. The tour was great in arranging the shuttles to each of the three areas where we could come and go whenever we wanted. Lunch at Guano Point was very good. The Hualapie Market was a little dissappointing because only 3 merchants were offering "Native jewelry and crafts" . The gift shops were busy places and unfortunately almost all of the items offered were very commercial. I mean really - fleece blankets! I would have paid a good price for a native blanket or pottery made on the spot.

Excellent trip, with well organised pickup and travel to the Grand Canyon. Only downside to a great day was the rather long and labourious drop off in the evenng with yet another change of bus required when we got to the Strip.

Doing what: Vegas Strip and Hoover Dam Twilight Helicopter Tour

Great experience, I personally thought the Vegas strip as too short and Hoover Dam is a little longer than expected. Limo pick up was a plus, first time for family of 5 to ride a limo

The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. We learned a lot and had some good laughs. The duration of the tour was just right and we were pleased with our choice. I have two complaints... One was the length of time we had to wait at the tour head-office to board the bus. The pick-up was on schedule but we were then shuttled to the tour head-office with hundreds of others who were also on tours. It was cold that morning and we had to stand outside for a over half an hour while we waited to board our bus. Second, the AC on the bus was blasting for the entire ride there and back. Several people mentioned it to the driver but not much was done. So, we had to place our maps over the vents to deflect the cold air .This was unfortunate as it made for an uncomfortable bus ride.

This trip was awesome, beautiful views, friendly people and a great experience.

The tour was great...we did the same tour last year, but this year our bus driver drove us down to the Hoover Dam instead of just to the bypass lookout. Last year our tour included the Skywalk at Eagle Point and Guano Point. This year's tour also included a stop at the Hualapai Ranch. It was an incredibly busy day at the Canyon so there were lineups at each point and we ran out of time to enjoy everything to the fullest. We did not have time for the main gift shop. The meal was okay, but we were rushed as we waited to eat at the Ranch (they ran out of chicken at Guano Point). Our driver was very entertaining.
