Lima might not boast the gambling prowess of Las Vegas, but business is booming for the city’s top casinos – a recent addition to Peru‘s abundant slot machine arcades.

Those looking to try their luck can choose from eight licensed casinos, including Casino La Hacienda, Casino Fortuna and the Golden Palace Casino, but the real action is at the three biggest casinos, located within staggering distance of each other in Miraflores. First up is the Majestic Casino at the esteemed JW Marriott Hotel, where two VIP rooms host Roulette, Punto Banco and Texas Hold’em poker tables, beside the main hall. The nearby Fiesta Casino takes over the 2nd and 3rd floor of the eponymous hotel, where live entertainment and a Bar & Grill are also available to casino guests and finally, the multi-floor Atlantic City Casino hosts a VIP restaurant alongside its many tables.
