Doing what: Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima and Batalha Day Trip

All day was good, except for a 45 minute shopping trip in Fatima. If you don't want to buy a suitcase of Madonnas this 45 minutes are a waste of time.

Our Fatima tour was OK. I would not want to take a whole day tour as it would be way too long. I thought the tour guide would walk us about Fatima and instead she just spoke on the way there in the bus. She spoke several languages, which was great but it actually was grating on you by the end. Maybe if they had a system where you put ear phones on it would be great. The bus ride was comfortable but very long. You had limited time in Fatima itself which was difficult, you were running from 1 church to the next.

These were beautiful villages that required more time at each of them. If you have trouble with stairs this is not the tour for you. Our guide was not helpful at all. Fatima needed much more time. very disappointed.

time in Obidos was very short.we barely had time to see the fortress.Nazare was just a stop for lunch, also no chance to walk at the seaside and enjoy the picturesque village..the time was spend at the souvenir shop.:(:(.I guess the trip was not well organised.we really missed so many nice things.at Fatima it was great,we had enough time to see everything and also attend a mass.at Batalha,it was Ok.
all in all the tour was OK,it could be better.

Doing what: Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima and Batalha Day Trip

I loved this trip!! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it's advertised as a 9 1/2 hour trip and it ended up being a little more than 12 hours with only one meal provided. Also although the sites were fantastic we were way too rushed through many of them. Perhaps remove one of the sites so that more time can be spent at the others. (For example we made two trips to a souvenir stop by Fatima which totalled over 1 hour time yet we only had 55 minutes to visit the entire village of Obidos. Even with these issues I would do this trip again in a heartbeat, but next time I would plan on a much longer trip than advertised. It is worth every penny!

Overall the trip was very good. Pick up and drop-off was convenient. Lunch meal was excellent. However these are the points where it needs to improve. Time management was really bad. Obidos was only given 43minutes. NOT enough!. Alcobaca was not in the itenerary, although nice to stop there, however too much time was given to it. Fatima was given way too much time. Why did we have to stop for so long at the sovenier store in Fatima? This was not supposed to be a 'religious' journey for all the people in the tour group. Meal in Nazare was excellent, however, no oppurtunity to visit any sovenier stores over there? In short Obidos should have been given the most amount of time out of all the sites. Its a beautiful town and deserved more attention. Hope you implement better time management for other groups.

Very informative trip, got a lot of information about Portuguese history. Professionalism of guide Dora made easy 4-lingual trip. However, we think that too much time was given to Fatima visit (1 hr), may be people who particulary interested in this place should take 1/2 day trip to Fatima only.

Doing what: Fatima Half-Day Trip from Lisbon

First I have to gripe about other Viator reviewers: Please write more than just "it was excellent" as this tells me nothing about the tour. Please write details, be more descriptive.*Second* Viator can be absolutely WRONG on meeting point details. I almost missed this trip cuz they were wrong as to where to meet, it's not in the square. The only thing that saved me was that there was a tourism office in the square and they told me where to go with seconds to spare. Even the number to call had nobody to pick up. Now then, we went to Fatima 2 days before the big anniversary/holiday they celebrate with a million people. We lucked out, we saw big pilgrim groups, hikers, kneelers, all without the big crowd effect. The place is massive like the Vatican, but the Basilica is not as big but still very impressive, architecture, views, etc. You basically are given free time to go explore, so I just did the basillica, mass area, saw the candle fire area and then went straight to town for shopping and eats. Shopped at both the big square and where they are mixed in with the cafes, one shop i stopped at a young woman was so nice rounding down the prices of everything I asked about without even haggling. Well worth the trip.

This was a wonderful trip to Fatima. We wished we could have spent a little more time there because it would have been nice to attend Mass.

Great day! First time in Portugal and got to see so much. Lovely countryside, beautiful Fatima, seaside town and quaint little village celebrating a chocolate festival.

My tour to Fatima and the others cities was fantastic! And the tour guide Anna knew her fact and made them very interesting. Lunch was absolutely divine. And so was the service.

It was good as an overall. However, they should allow more time at Fatima. We only got an hour there and there was not time to explore the area. I did not like going to a particular giftshop selected by the tour company. There are a lot of giftshop at Fatima with more selections.

Doing what: Private Tour: Fatima Sightseeing

Our tour guide/driver, Miquel was not only well-informed, but extremely professional and personable. Taking a private tour allows for a much greater appreciation and better understanding of the site you are visiting. Admittedly it was pricey, but after considering the time it took us to travel there, it was well worth the money. Fatima is a most spiritual, restful and beautiful sacred place. I would return again and spend even more time (the tour was a half day). Highly recommend this tour and ask for Miguel. Beth and Gerry Wagner

Obidos is definitively one of the most appealing pictouresque Portuguese towns and the Nazare beach and lunch in the coast restaurant make it very interesting. I appreciated the good choice of Portuguese wine in the lunch made by the restaurant .

Regarding Fatima, what I do not like is the very commercial side of what is a religious fact although this has nothing to do with the tour.

Doing what: Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima and Batalha Day Trip

The tour was very well organized and the guide was very informative. The lunch in Nazare was 5 stars, much better than most tour lunches. My husband and I would have preferred more time in Obidos and Nazare, and less time at the Fatima shopping outlet. The guide presented all day in three languages; we think two should be the max per group as it was hard to sit through the same thing three times. At the end of the tour, the bus dropped us off near our hotel rather than at our hotel which was disappointing as I had indicated our hotel location on a map earlier in the day. Overall: we loved it, and would recommend it!
