Good deal that it included all the public transportation. I also was happy to discover that the route ran by the cruise terminal and the bus was waiting for us as we disembarked.

After being picked up at our hotel we were taken to a center to wait for our tour. We asked the person in charge if we would be returned back to our hotel or to this center. We were told that we would be taken back to our hotel.
Tour had 10 people; 4 spoke Italian, 4 spoke English and 2 spoke Spanish and English. The tour guide spent over 70% of the time speaking in Italian.
After the tour ended, the tour guide told us he was going to drop us in the center of the city (it really wasn't the center and not very close to our hotel). We told him that the person at the center location had assured us that we would be taken back to our hotel. After much haggling, the tour guide and driver agreed to do just that.
FYI we were the only one's who actually tipped the tour guide at the end even though we were treated rather shoddily. The Italians leaped from the van.

This was the worst tour I have "ever" been on. The tour guide spoke 5 languages, and as such repeated herself five times. By the time she finished translating the bus had passed the point of interest! When we stopped to see something of interest the guide did not add any local color or insight. It was "very" canned. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. We managed to leave the tour early.

It is OK once it is figured out. There are 4 different hop on companies in Lisbon...this is for the Yellow Bus...who also owns the local buses and trolleys. The other 3 are picked up at Marque Pombol; Yellow Bus is at Rossio. Once you get a hang of the system...it is great...goes everywhere all the time. Your 48 hour pass also allows you free access to all city buses, trams and trolleys.

The hop-on-hop-off tour is the best way to see the main highlights of Lisbon! I would highly recomend this to anyone who doesnt have too many days to spend in the city but would like to see as much as possible. The tram ride was amazing!!! We got to see the real Lisbon and we had such a great time!!Portugal definitely is a great country and Lisbon is an amazing city. It was great to see the old and the new parts of the city! This is the best way to see as much as possible in Lisbon in a short space of time!

We had 2 days on the yellow open top bus and it was a very good way to see the city and get our bearings. The ticket also included the old trams which went up the steep, winding and very narrow streets and the Junta lift where you could get out at the top and walk over to have a look round before going down again, There were queues for the lift but they weren't too bad. The only bus we didn't use was the mini bus as on the day we were going to use it the weather was so bad with heavy rain that we would not have been able to see anything. Not the bus tour's fault but the Lisbon weather! We use the open top bus every city we go to as it saves a bit of leg work when you are slightly getting on in years and helps to give a good feel of a city without wandering aimlessly. Although we thought we could get on at any stop, at first you have to go to the office to exchange your voucher for the tickets.

This is the best way to see Lisbon!!! I love Hop on Hop off tours and this one is great! It gives you an over view of the city and then you can decide where to spend your time. I recommend riding it all around the city first, making notes where you want to get off. Then after completing a full ride around the city get back on the bus and have it take you to the stops you want to get off and spend time in. Great use of time and great way to get around the city. Make sure you go to a Fado show in Lisbon!!! Obrigado (thank you) for reading :)

Good value for money. A bit of duplication on some of the routes.

The four routes were very good. We particularly enjoyed the Tram and Belem routes. We found that the headphone connection to some plugs was loose. There was also some reticence on behalf of the first bus driver to exchange your voucher for the ticket. Some guidance on your documentation as to where and how this should have been done, would have been welcomed.Nevertheless we found the commentaries to be good.

As stated in my previous review about the weather delay, we arived late in Lisbon and the wait for the airport shuttle now put us 7+ hrs late. We didn't realize there are two Hop-on Hop-off providers, red buses and yellow buses. By the time we figured this out, by the red bus driver helping us realize we should be on the yellow bus, we missed the yellow bus and there weren't any more buses for the day. We only used 24-hrs of the 48-hr ticket. I won't pre-pay for this service again. I'm willing to pay more and get on the first bus available once I arrive.
