Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Lisbon Walking Tour with Food and Wine Tastings, and Sintra and Cascais Day Trip
Sintra is a lovely place and Pena Palace is fairytale. Cascais and Estoril completes the day with the stunning ocean view.
The walking tour in Lisbon is recommended to all those who want to learn in a short time about the highlights of the city. You need to be in a good shape to keep pace.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Sintra, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos Small-Group Day Trips
The 2 day Sintra, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos Small Group Day Trip was wonderful and well worth the money. Our tour guide John spoke at least three languages, was a very good driver and had an excellent historical knowledge of the areas visited. I would highly recommend his tours and would return for seconds.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Sintra, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos Small-Group Day Trips
The sites are great. The guides are good. Patrick who took us to Fatima, Nazare and Obidos on the first day was very knowledgeable. The small group we had on the first day had my family with 3 English speaking individuals and 2 Spanish speaking couples. He managed to translate everything (literally everything --- even the little jokes we had) in both languages. Unlike other mixed-speaking tours we had, we didn't feel short-changed when the guide showed a preference for one language. The 2nd day had a bit of a mix-up, our names were not on the Sintra and Cascais tours for some reason (despite the earlier confirmations I had received). There was finger pointing between Viator and Inside Lisbon as to who was at fault. But, the important thing is how Viator's partner Inside Lisbon handled the situation. We ended up having a private tour for just our family and it would be impossible to complain after that. Hugo and Andrei were our guides on the 2nd day and it was amazing how they managed to make-up for the lost time. You can't really visit Lisbon and miss any of these sites. It was well-worth the money and the very slight inconvenience. I continue to trust Viator and their choice of local partners.

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
my mum and i had a great day out. we joined a small english speaking group. we went to the pena palace. mum had difficulties but patrick and claudia couldn't have been kinder. we had time in sintra. we stopped at a local market and learned about the local cheeses and the salami chocolate. in the afternoon we went on to cabo de roco and the coastline on into cascais where we had more free time. we were out 8 hours, educated and entertained. thanks again! the johnstons.

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
Augusto deftly led our tour of two Australians, four Spaniards and us (two Americans) to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. He was entertaining and informative from the first moment of the tour to the last. The scenery was breathtaking; the Sintra castle interior was stunning, and the views from the ramparts were soaring. Cabo da Roca is as beautiful if not more so than any photograph could be. In Cascais, we had time for ice cream and to watch surfers and sailboats. The tour was unhurried, with ample time to wander, shop, eat, and relax on our own. This tour is a carefree way to travel through the countryside outside of Lisbon to enjoy varied and beautiful sights.

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
Sintra and Cascais were beautiful. Our guide Andre from Inside Lisbon was exceptional. He spoke excellent English and knew so much about the palace and the towns. He taught us all about the architecture and the park. My husband, 8 year old son, and I were amazed at the beauty of the palace. This tour is an absolute must and it was fantastic that it was with such a small group of people. It was just the 3 of us and two other couples, one from Singapore and the other from Austria. Everyone in our group was super friendly. Don't miss this tour!

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Lisbon Walking Tour with Food and Wine Tastings, and Sintra and Cascais Day Trip
These two tours made a geat combination. The walking tour with an excellent guide, Maguerida, round Lisbon gave a good appreciation of the city and ended with a ferry trip across the bay to an excellent tasting, one of several on the walk. Even though the weather was less good for the Sintra trip, the guide was flexible enough to allow us to see the sights and have free time in the best conditions. Well worth doing.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Lisbon Walking Tour with Food and Wine Tastings, and Sintra and Cascais Day Trip
Walking tour with food and wine was nice. It was wonderful to have a nice small group of only 5. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. But make sure that you are ready to walk about 8 miles UP AND DOWN HILLS AND STAIRS! My feet wee sore and hurt that evening. Day trip to Sintra and the castle and Cascais was a real treat.

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
Very nice place to visit. Tour was well organized and yet we had time to do what ever we liked. We visited many different places and the tour guide Martinu was outstanding. He speaks good english and was helpful providing interesting advices. Estoril is a beautiful and fairly big resort. Sintra is a charming mountain town and has many restaurants and we enjoyed eating outdoor overlooking the Sintra palace. It's worth visiting the Sintra palace as well not just the Pena palace.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: 2-Day Sintra, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos Small-Group Day Trips
A story of two parts. Day 1 we took the Sintra/Cascais tour. Interesting visit to the castle followed by a totally forgettable and very overpriced 15 Euros lunch. The service was slow, the food was not great and by agreeing to our guide's suggestion of booking this lunch, it effectively stopped as having a look at Sintra town. Cascais was a non event. Cape Roca was certainly worth a look. Don't agree to the sit down lunch. You will do a lot better to make your own meal arrangement.
Day two was simply magnificent: Fatima, Nazare, Obidos and parts between just supurb and tremendous value for money. The guides lunch suggestion was half the price of the previous day and six times better!!
Both guides were very good.
