my mum and i had a great day out. we joined a small english speaking group. we went to the pena palace. mum had difficulties but patrick and claudia couldn't have been kinder. we had time in sintra. we stopped at a local market and learned about the local cheeses and the salami chocolate. in the afternoon we went on to cabo de roco and the coastline on into cascais where we had more free time. we were out 8 hours, educated and entertained. thanks again! the johnstons.

Doing what: Private Tour: Best of Lisbon by Sidecar
Daniel gave us the most amazing tour that my wife and I have ever been on. I knew that this was going to be an amazing tour when he picked us up and asked if we had any plans, because we might be going long. Daniel showed us every bit of Lisbon and the sidecar is an amazing way to see it. When we went it was a bit rainy, but it mattered very little as Daniel was ready with rain suits. What was so amazing about the tour is that with the bike and sidecar, you can get places that most giant tour buses cant even dream of. Also, the knowledge that Daniel holds is amazing. Any question we had, he answered. I would highly recommend this tour. We have traveled all over the world and can almost gurantee that we will never have a tour as amazing as the tour with Daniel. Book now and enjoy an amazing day.

Doing what: Fatima Half-Day Trip from Lisbon
Comfortable bus and an informed guide but I had no English leaflet on the shrine only Portugeese so had to get this myself. Also it would have been cheaper to have purchased this tour direct from thr Yellow Bus as they gave a senior citizen discount. I am awaiting a refund.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Tour with Four Routes including Tram
We had 2 days on the yellow open top bus and it was a very good way to see the city and get our bearings. The ticket also included the old trams which went up the steep, winding and very narrow streets and the Junta lift where you could get out at the top and walk over to have a look round before going down again, There were queues for the lift but they weren't too bad. The only bus we didn't use was the mini bus as on the day we were going to use it the weather was so bad with heavy rain that we would not have been able to see anything. Not the bus tour's fault but the Lisbon weather! We use the open top bus every city we go to as it saves a bit of leg work when you are slightly getting on in years and helps to give a good feel of a city without wandering aimlessly. Although we thought we could get on at any stop, at first you have to go to the office to exchange your voucher for the tickets.

Doing what: Lisbon Super Saver: Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Tour with Four Routes including Tram
This is the best way to see Lisbon!!! I love Hop on Hop off tours and this one is great! It gives you an over view of the city and then you can decide where to spend your time. I recommend riding it all around the city first, making notes where you want to get off. Then after completing a full ride around the city get back on the bus and have it take you to the stops you want to get off and spend time in. Great use of time and great way to get around the city. Make sure you go to a Fado show in Lisbon!!! Obrigado (thank you) for reading :)

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
Great tour. The castle is unique but Cacais and Boca da Rocca are equally beautiful. I wish we could have more time in Cacais. If you want to have great photos, take this one. The tourguide is very knowledgable and keen to show us good place to take photos.

Doing what: Lisbon Airport Private Arrival Transfer
I had a wonderful experience. My driver met me at the airport and helped me with my bags. On the drive to the hotel he pointed out the sights and gave me tips on where to go and what to see. He also warned me about about dangers and gave me the emergency # should I have a need for such services. I would definitely use Viators again.
