Doing what: Private Tour: Fatima Sightseeing
We had an amazing guide (Filippia) who not only taught us all about Portugal, but also was very knowledgeable about Fatima. She took us to the homes of the shepherd children as well. On the way back she gave us tips on things to do and where to go in Lisbon. A highlight of our trip!!

Doing what: Lisbon Guided Walking Tour
Joanna, our tour guide, was wonderfully engaging. We met her on a Sunday March morning, and we were the only ones on the tour. She led us through lovely intermittent sun and rain for more than three hours. Our tour was unhurried, and Joanna was knowledgeable but flexible, willing to show us and discuss whatever we wanted. Her good humor and personality were a pleasure. This was our first tour and first full day in Lisbon, and Joanna made us feel comfortable in the city and excited to explore on our own. She set the stage for our beautiful week-long stay in Lisbon.

Doing what: Lisbon Sunset Small-Group Walking Tour with Fado Performance
Hugo, our tour guide, was wonderfully accommodating. It was a rainy March night, my boyfriend and I were the only ones on the tour. We're vegetarians and don't drink, but Hugo found us great treats and unforgettable seats at the fado restaurant in Bairro Alto. Our walk to the restaurant and tram ride were visual adventures. Hugo was excellent company, willing to let the night last as long as we wanted. He also provided intriguing information about the history of the hotel where we were staying. For a wonderful, local, authentic experience of food, sights and music, we highly recommend this tour. It didn't feel like a tour at all; it felt like being with friends.

Doing what: Sintra and Cascais Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon
Augusto deftly led our tour of two Australians, four Spaniards and us (two Americans) to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. He was entertaining and informative from the first moment of the tour to the last. The scenery was breathtaking; the Sintra castle interior was stunning, and the views from the ramparts were soaring. Cabo da Roca is as beautiful if not more so than any photograph could be. In Cascais, we had time for ice cream and to watch surfers and sailboats. The tour was unhurried, with ample time to wander, shop, eat, and relax on our own. This tour is a carefree way to travel through the countryside outside of Lisbon to enjoy varied and beautiful sights.

Doing what: Lisbon Seven Hills Electric Bike Tour
In my many years of traveling, this tour was one of my very best.
The bicycle tour with rent a fun was so awesome. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
Rent a fun is definitely an A+.
After the tour, I forgot my wallet on the bicycle and they tracked me down to give it back. Amazing!
