We enjoyed the Beatles evening tour experience especially the visit to Abbey Road studio and crossing. Informed by our driver/tour guide you could see yourselves on the Abbey Road webcam. It was fun when watching yourselves back later (available for 24hrs). Our driver Bob was very knowledgeable and accommodated a varied mix of questions from different nationalities on the tour. We only live 8 miles from Liverpool (home of the Beatles) but still enjoyed our trip to see Abbey Road, Paul McCartney home and offices, John Lennon and Brian Epstein homes etc. Bob our driver thoughts and knowledge really made the tour worth while. If wanting photos then be mind full of it going dark later in the evening.
Outstanding tour for any Beatle fan! Our tour guide was outstanding! He had a wealth of information and was passionate about his interest in Beatles history!
A great day trip from London. It's important to meet the tour rep at Euston Station to receive the rail, Beatles Story, and Magical Mystery Tour tickets. Their is no tour rep in Liverpool. Be prepared to navigate on your own to get to the Albert Docks. But Liverpool has many guideposts with info and directions to help you, and the people are very friendly and willing to point the way. Once you get to the Albert Docks, you can explore the shops and restaurants. The Beatles Story takes an hour and a half, so that takes up most of the morning. We went to a nearby restaurant called "Revolution" for a nice bite to eat. From there, it was on to the Magical Mystery Tour bus. The tour was a great companion attraction that takes you around the Liverpool the Beatles grew up in. It was a great fun-filled day, recommended for Beatles fans.
Tour went well - very overpriced however. The agent we met at Eustonprovided lots of detail and all required documents (printed out off a computer) and was very helpful. The two hour Magical Mystery Tour in Liverpool is OK, not great, OK. The Beatles museum is very good. You can book that tour for considerably less doing it yourself. Total admissions were about 40 GPB plus the train ride per person.
The journey was interesting and the driver pleasant but the tape was not set accurately against the sights. The tape was also out of date at the Liverpool Museum and the Radio Tower. We were surprised to find we were on the last bus at 2.45 from Albert Dock, when your advertise later times so it was not possible to "Hop-on and -off"
Fabulous- we used the bus all day, first doing the full trip, then getting on and off. The buses were on time, the commentary was good, the weather wonderful, a really good value trip. We will use the service again, both in Liverpool and wherever else the service is available.
It was a great day there and I learned a lot about the beatles I did not know it was them who really changed music with great songs
Good value, tour covers main items of interest in Liverpool City. The ability to hop on and off at will plus the often humorous running commentary make for an enjoyable journey. Bus drivers were all helpful with local details etc.
Excellent visit with no problems at all. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. Great value for money deal by booking with Viator online rather than paying at the door
I was born in Liverpool and lived there til 1984. The tour was ok but could've been much better. What about Sefton and Calderstones Park, Penny Lane and Lark Lane? The London and York tours I've been on with you seemed far more comprehensive and enjoyable.
