Liverpool’s Walker Art Gallery houses one of the largest art collections in England outside London.
The fabulous collection of artworks and sculptures spans the 14th to 20th centuries, with works by the likes of Rembrandt, David Hockney, Monet and Turner.
The art gallery is a special favorite with fans of the Pre-Raphaelite painters, with iconic works by Rossetti, Leighton, Holman Hunt and Millais.
Other galleries include Renaissance masterpieces by Holbein, Titian’s High Renaissance paintings, works by 17th-century Dutch and Flemish artists, British artists of the 18th century, examples of impressionism and postwar modernism.
