Doing what: Small-Group Day Trip to Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Avebury from London
Leader was very knowledgeable and well spoken. Selection of sites and time were very good. There was an equipment problem (minibus would not start) which the vendor handled very well. Ordered a coach that came with only an hour and a half delay which the vendor added to the back end of the trip. No loss of coverage.

Fantastic tour! One of the greatest days in England. The guide always had great knowledge from all places that we'd gone, with nice commentaries and stories. This tour is a little bit more expensive, but is a longer travel and all tickets that you need are included. Strongly recommended!

Doing what: Small-Group Day Trip to Salisbury, Stonehenge and Avebury from London
What a fantastic trip. I highly recommend the small group trips over the big coach trips where you feel like you are herded onto a cattle car. The small bus made for a much more manageble group for our tour guide. Tony was extremely knowledgeble and his humor made a long day fly by. We had only 10 in our bus and we quickly discovered that hanging around Tony was the best way to soak in the experience. My wife and I did a similar tour a few years ago with another group on the coaches and the small group was a much more pleasant and enriching experience.

Make sure you ask for David- (this tour is done by International Friends agency and David is with them). David tells the histories and background- weaving them together like a beautiful tapestry with passion. An excellent guide is important, otherwise might as well book bus tickets:) Never one to ask, or, hint for tips. He is a very very good guide, who is warmly welcomed at every stop we stopped at too.
In addition to this, because it is a small-group (see title of tour), we travel by a mini-van which takes you on many small roads passing by gorgeous sceneries, which is impossible with big tour agencies and their big coaches.

Doing what: Small-Group Day Trip to Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Avebury from London
Our tour guide was very informative from International Friends tours; kept a running commentary providing obscure and interesting facts of what we are about to see, what we saw or general knowledge. We were a group of 12. We didn't get a chance to climb up to Glastonbury Tor though. We were running behind so only got a photo op from the bottom. There were several drop off points (the same as the pick up points) upon return to London.

David, who coordinated our tour was very nice! He explained deeply about historical background and very gentle to all of us. Paul, a bus driver was very nice too. We had so much fun with this trip.

Our group was just 8 people. Size of group was PERFECT. It was a long, long day but we covered so much. Loved the tour and the guide David was great and very knowledgeable.

Doing what: Small-Group Day Trip to Salisbury, Stonehenge and Avebury from London
It was a great trip, the car was comfortable, a small group and the destinations are really great - the Cathedral in Salisbury is outstanding, Stonehenge is Stonehenge and Avebury has also great ruins to see, in a terrific landscape. The trip was even better because of the guide, David, very nice and knowledgeable, giving all the context and stories behind what we where seeing, and also allowing free time for us to explore the places.
