Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
The castle was excellent although the castle tour guide was barely audible at times. The Dover trip was not much good although in fairness, it was a foggy day with limited visibility. I would have liked to see more but it was too far out of the way for an inside meal with no view. I'd seen Canterbury before but was probably good for first timers. Greenwich should have had a walking tour instead of a briefing and free time. The boat ride was disappointing since it is basically a commuter ferry with no guide pointing out things of interest. The tour guide was excellent in the bus but he either couldn't or wasn't scheduled to take us on any tours outside the bus.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
Leeds castle was great and easy to understand why it is rated the prettiest castle in England.Lunch at Dover was included and enjoyed the "Spitfire" beer (extra cost but reasonable). Canterbury cathedral was maginificent. Everything was closed by the time we arrived in Greenwich so no value in going there other than to catch the boat back down the river to London. Mark the guide was excellent

A great deal of interesting history from the guide. Leeds and Canterbury Cathedral were lovely. Greenwich rushed. Dover was a lunch stop by the port.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
On the whole, we enjoyed the coach tour. Our guide, Paul, was great and friendly, as was our driver, Malcolm. Canterbury was our favorite part. We were given time to walk around and have lunch. The cathedral was absolutely stunning. Leeds Castle was an okay visit. Our tour guide for that portion was quite dull so we were less interested. Our main criticism of the itinerary is regarding the Cliffs of Dover portion. We were hoping to get a better view/get closer than standing on the beach a few miles away taking in the cliffs amidst the highway and construction. Greenwich was nice but very brief. The cruise back is a nice touch.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
We had an awesome time! The length of the tour was pretty long, so you get very tired. We loved Leeds Castle, Canterbury, and Dover. We didn't get to spend much time in Greenwich, though. Overall it was an excellent tour. We were given enough time at the places other than Greenwich to do the tour, and then be able to do your own thing as well which was nice. Our guide, Barry, was very knowledgeable and kept you entertained throughout the bus rides. The boat tour was also quite nice and fun!

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
I was quite disappointed in this day tour. The itinerary initially drew me in but the execution of it was poorly accomplished.
The tour guide we had at Leed's Castle did not speak good English and was difficult to understand. It seemed that our tour of the castle went on a bit long because of this and then there wasn't any time to explore the grounds or get souveniers.
Then because we raced out of there so quickly we apparently had extra time and so the tour guide stopped along the way to Dover at a memorial. I would rather have had more time at Leed's Castle or Canterbury. In Dover, we did nothing! Because we didn't want the add-on lunch we were left to sit on the rocky beach and wait for the others to have lunch. There's no reason a non-lunch and lunch tour should be combined. Why didn't the guide take us up to Dover castle while the other ate? Instead we were left with nothing to do!
In Canterbury or time was quite limited as well so we could get to Greenwich, which was a complete joke. We spent most of the time on the bus while they found a place to stop and then we raced around the block to the boat down the Thames. For me this was a wasted day on my trip. I was very dissappointed.

Words of warning: 1.) The 12 hour tour is really less than 10. 2.) the private Leeds Castle tour is barely private, when the doors open the public pushes through your tour which the guide (who was good) can barely take a breath she rushed so fast and there is no time to see anything but the tour your given. 3.) lunch at Dover is at a Best Western - if you want to see the cliffs or take any pictures, skip that and enjoy fresh seafood from a food vendor on the beach- Sue's Seafood - inexpensive but great fresh food!!!! 4.) at least you have time to experience Canterbury - YEA!!! 5.) Greenwich time is just an excuse to walk you to the boat. 6.) the "LUXURY" cruise is on a commuter clippper, with cheap tea and a cold muffin.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
We were very unhappy to find that they had booked our tour of Leeds Castle on a day when it was full of people arranging flowers for another event. We didn't get to experience the castle at it's best by any means. Had we known we would have postponed and gone another time. Also, it was advertised as a "private viewing" but they let the public in during our tour, so we had non-tour people joining our group which made it even harder to see what the guide was telling us about. Also, they split our group into two (because of the crush) and we had to go through the rooms backwards chronologically - so it made even less sense! It was not a nice experience. Lunch in Dover was a snooze. Canterbury Cathedral was amazing but we were told very little about the history of the cathedral and nothing about the town prior to our arrival. Barry, our guide spent most of his time on the long ride to Dover talking about the Battle of Britain which, while interesting, was not what we were there to experience - he didn't give a whole lot of background on the rest of the historic sites. Finally, we saw very little of Greenwich, and what sounded like a lovely ride back on the Thames was basically a water taxi with muffins and cheap champagne thrown in.

Well organized, very good guide, but would have liked to see prime Meridien while we had a lot of extra time in Greenwich.

I enjoyed this trip. It was the perfect amount of time at each place. The cruise down the Thames from Greenwich to London was fun and relaxing.

Great job except for the time in Greenwich. We saw one building that the guide liked and not the real reason the cite is important.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
A lovely daytrip: we learnt a lot about England by having such a lovely guide! The trip started late and also covers a lot of ground, and we felt a bit rushed towards the end (trough Greenwich). Canterbury Cathedral was also closed without prior notice. But I can still recommend the trip to anyone who wants to discover more of England and has only a short time to see it in!

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
The entire tour was a great experience in which we loved the time at Leeds Castle the most. Not to forget the guide of the tour Steev, who really was an encyclopedia. It would have been perfect if we were able to see the greenwich museum also but couldn't help since it was closed on the day we visited. The rain at the end of the journey (during the river cruise) did made some difficulties for us (since we were with a baby with 2 1/2 yrs) but should say didn't hamper the fun and experience in any ways. Finally a special thanks to the guys of the tour coach company who helped me to catch the coach as I was late to the departing point on that day. We would have missed this great tour if not for those guys who drove me in their vehicle till we reached the touring party. All in all it was a great experience!!!

Guide was excellent. It would have been perfect if we could actually go by the cliffs of Dover and see the GMT/meridian line in Greenwich.
