Doing what: Windsor Castle Half-Day Trip from London with Lunch at Harrods
Windsor castle was great, and to end up at Harrods even better as this was our first tour of many for the four days we had. Some hints when you get to the main depot to connect to your bus for Windsor Castle, just check how long you have before departure for if you grab a cofee and food you cant ake it on the bus. Lunch at Harrods was cool, but we didnt realise you are not goping to get full buffet meal only cavery and desert, and boy do they let you know if your selecting food your not supposed to be eating. Which seemed a bit off really as it dampened the whole experience would of been better if we knew when we sat down what was included not have them tell us as we were selecting food and makeing us feel like plebs.

Doing what: Windsor Castle Half-Day Trip from London with Lunch at Harrods
We really enjoyed Windsor Castle and our lunch at Harrods was delicious. Only complaint we had was with our tour guide. We reached Windsor Castle and the tour guide asked that we walk quickly to the entrance. No one had a problem with that but the bus was full and by the time we got from the back of the bus to outside the tour guide was long gone. We had no idea where to go so we followed the crowds. We finally caught up with the tour guide in the admissions building but by that time we had lost many people from our group including 12 Russian women. It would have been so much better if he had waited until everyone had disembarked from the bus and then walked briskly to the admissions building. It would have made the beginning of the tour so much more pleasurable.

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
My London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour with Harrods afternoon tea was cancelled on me at the very last minute (tour company to blame, not Viator). It was replaced by the England in One Day Trip, the only tour available at that time. The England in One Day Trip was actually very pleasant. The tour guide was very knowledgable and made the last minute change quite enjoyable. Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon were pleasantly interesting and fun.

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
From reading the fantastic reviews for this tour (including the raves about Tea at Harrods), I guess we expected a little too much. First, our bus was 15-20 mins late picking us up in the morning, and subsequently got later after each pickup -- heading in to the central bus station at Victoria Station -- where the "actual" tour disembarks from. At that point, we got to the Tower so late we were rushed. Our guide (unlike others we read about in other reviews) appeared to be "seasoned" but lacked humor and the initiative to make the day the best it could have been. Most disappointed with the changing of the guard at Buckingham. Other reviews imply the guide knows the inside track and gets the best views. Ha! After missing so much of the event by sticking with the guide, I broke off on my own and saw much more. The anticipated “fabulous ending”, tea at Harrods, was not so fabulous. The wait staff seemed to be shocked to see all of us walk in, because of how late it was when we arrived. More than 15-mins of awkward negotiation by our guide and 7 in our party volunteering to take voucher from Harrods for another day, and we finally get seated -- 10-mins before closing. Research this one more than we did. You may find you could do better on your own.

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
Pick up was 10 minutes late then we had to wait in our mini bus for a changeover to a coach to take us to Victoria because a driver wanted the mini bus for private use at the weekend. We also had to wait at Victoria for people that didn't turn up. This made our tour late and didn't have very long in the Tower of London. Damien the tour guide was very informative and interesting the tour was good. Tower of London very interesting, plenty of time to see the different sites. We had the optional Afternoon Tea at Harrods which was very enjoyable you have to sit on a large table with the rest of your party we were expecting a table for two. Good value for money.

it was nice, got a feel for the city, loved, loved ,loved the tower of London.didn't go on the london eye, went to Harrods for tea, thats it tea and 2 scones.ver disappointing, would have rather bought my own tea and sandwiches and pastries there, along with the rich snobs that were eating at the other tables, forget this go on the eye.and the pub we went to for lunch was awful,i had the cod,not too bad and husband had the beef, tough, most of the people on tour wouldn't eat it,i suggest buying your own lunch

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
Tour was good and our guide did a great job. The only negative of the tour was the afternoon tea at Harrods. We were marched through the main dinning area to a side room like a bunch of cattle and looked upon as second class citizens by customers and Harrods staff. Understand we were a tour group but there is no excuse for the way we were treated. We were "sat" at tables and gived a small pot of tea and stale scones that were more suitable for hockey pucks than food. It was clear they didn't want us there and made us feel as uncomfortabe as they could. I suggest the afternoon tea by removed from the tour or go someware else where your business would be welcome. Too bad it happended as the rest of the tour was great.

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
Our tour was great and our guide, Mark, was very approachable as well as knowledgeable. However, tea at Harrods was not a good experience. We were sequestered away in a dingy little room away from the main area. It was disappointing, but no fault of the tour company, I blame that on Harrods.

We chose to end our tour with Tea at Harrods where we were shuffled into the furthest corner and served tea and scones with jam and cream (nothing special). I felt like the 'poor relation', we were isolated from the 'paying guests' and served what looked to be an inferior tea.

Pick up was late, so unhappy at having to get up so early! Guide very good and informative. Good time allowed at each 'site' - would have liked a longer river trip. It was not clear on booking that I had to select London Eye or Tea in Harrods, as it said 'optional' so I thought I could chose on the day. We were however selected to go to London Eye, which I had already been on and it was not possible to change to tea at Harrods, so I was disappoined. Not happy at being dropped off at a tube station as expected return transport to hotel.

The best part of the tour was the end at Harrods, where we enjoy a nice coffe, apart of it the tour is really basic, wich means u can visit the same places by urself going on a Hop on bus and reading at home about the places u'r going to visit. PLUS it says in the web that we were been guided by a beefeater in the London Bridge and it never happened since its depend of the group quantity but it does'nt say so in the web. A bit dissapointed!

The Harrods tea was very poor. We were marched through the main tea area to a back balcony and given a scone and a cup of tea.
