Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
This was an excellent tour! It was rainy the day we took the tour, but that made it feel more like jolly old England. Leeds Castle was wonderful and the private tour made it even better-no crowds to deal with. Lunch at the white cliffs of Dover was realy neat-even through the fog. Cantebury Church was unbelieveable, and the Greenwich boat ride back to the London Eye gave us a super view of the city.

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
Leeds Castle was beautiful and so unique. The castle grounds are undeveloped, gorgeous, and serene. We loved touring Leeds Castle!

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
Our guide was a gem! He was very informed and made the day delightful. He also took great care of us as a group and shuttled us around with ease. I would recommend this tour because you get a great feel for each area and spending leisurely time on the grounds at Leeds Castle and at Canterbury was perfect.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
Our tour guide was excellent - very knowledgeable about the history. We had to drive through London on the way to Leeds Castle and were treated to a very informative narrative about the areas we were driving through. Leeds Castle was the first stop and was interesting. We then went on to Canterbury and the cathedral. After admittance to the cathedral, we were on our own to view it. We then had free time to explore Canterbury or have lunch before boarding the coach again. Our next stop was Dover, where we had a brief stop to view and photograph the white cliffs of Dover. Then we were off to Greenwich. It would have been nice to have more time in Greenwich as we were unable to get to the observatory. We did have a brief walking tour through parts of Greenwich prior to boarding the boat for our cruise back to London. We had a choice of tea, coffee or champagne with our scones on the cruise. There was a lot packed into the day but it was well worth it.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
The guide was very entertaining, great history, fascinating obscure stories of the kings. Hope you get as lucky as we did with hearing the choir rehearse while touring Canterbury, it was such a spiritual experience. Take the path along the cliffs at Dover near the restaurant for a fabulous view. Appreciated the extra stop at the WWII pilot memorial. Hike out to the edge for great views of the white cliffs and of France. Be sure to walk through the gardens at Leeds Castle...those we as beautiful as the castle itself!

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
We had a great time on this trip! Leeds Castle was fascinating and Dover was neat, but very short. We only had about 10 minutes and enough time to take a couple photos of some cliffs that weren't the most photogenic of all of them. There was also a massive castle in Dover that I never knew about that we hoped to see, but that wasn't part of the tour. I had never really heard much about Canterbury before going, but I loved the town. It was such an incredible little city. Try your best to get to the down gate towards the right down one of the main streets when coming back from the cathedral. Great views of the city. The best way to describe it is if you've ever been to a Renaissance Fair, it's almost like a real life version of one of those.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
This tour was the highlight of our trip to London. Leeds Castle was great! This was a smaller tour so there was only about 10 of us which was preferable to a big busload of people.

I loved Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. They are both amazing! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and a real character. This is a day tour worth doing.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
This tour was excellent. The guide thoroughly knew the history, geography and background of all the tour stops and he communicated this very well. We even made two unscheduled stops, the Battle of Britain Memorial and the beach at Dover. This tour could be improved by making it a few hours longer so more time could be spent at Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Greenwich.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
My husband and I had a great time on this trip. The tour guide was genial, funny, and knowledgeable. The bus ride was comfortable and smooth. And I felt we spend a good amount of time at each location.
This tour concentrates on Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. You drive past Dover Castle and have lunch at a quaint lighthouse pub that over looks the White Cliffs. You get about a photo opportunity at the cliffs and then you're taken on to the next stop.
I will say I was a bit disappointed about our time in Greenwich. The Cutty Sark was being renovated, so we had no access to it. And our tour guide didn't take us to the actual Prime Meridian. But at the same time, it was the end of the day, and we were a bit tired from all the traveling.
The boat ride made up for the Greenwich mishap, though. We saw the Globe Theatre and the Mayflower Pub - the place of the Pilgrims' mooring of the Mayflower.
One tip, though. If you want to be picked up from your hotel, make sure you call the vendor at least 24 hours in advance - or be prepared to get to Victoria Coach Station on time. At the end of the day, you get dropped off at Tower Hill.

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
I loved Leeds Castle and Dover so much. I could have spent the entire day there exploring. We had a small group, only nine of us, so our tour guide was also our driver. Our tour guide did an excellent job of keeping us entertained with stories and with information. Canterbury was alright and the cathedral was pretty, but not as much exciting as Leeds Castle or Dover. Have your camera ready for this trip!

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Our guide was funny, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. He was interesting to listen to and most helpful. Leeds Castle lives up to its reputation, and although I wish we had more time there, we had a great experience. The cruise was fun, and it was nice to drink tea while riding in the boat. I highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Leeds Castle Private Viewing, Canterbury and Greenwich Day Trip from London
We took this tour and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! The Leeds Castle, Dover, Canterbury, Greenwich and Thames River Cruise was wonderful. Leeds castle was beautiful. It was great arriving before the public. Our guide did an excellent job of keeping the group on task and called ahead to make sure lunch was ready when we arrived. The Lighthouse Inn provided a delicious lunch. The fish and chips were excellent. The Thames River cruise was a wonderful way to end the day. The Cutty Sark was not available to see because of repairs (no great loss). I do wish we had a little more time to spend in Cantebury.

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
The tour was wonderful, we were picked up from our hotel and taken by coach to Leeds Castle. Our guide was really good and she even spoke in Japanese. The castle was really wonderful (even my husband said so) the gaardens were too beautiful and it was a beautiful, warm day too. The cliffes of Dover were a little disappointing as we werent close-up. The pebbles on the beach there were rather big! Canterbury cathedral was absolutely beautiful and the city of Canterbury was fascinating. The guide didnt say much on the way home and our bus driver was good but rather impatient. Definitely a tour worth going on!!

Doing what: Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover
This tour was a great way to see Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral, which are brilliant! It also allows plenty of time to explore the surroundings at both places. The stop at Dover was nice, but fairly brief and although the cliffs looked great in the sun, were too far away to appreciate fully.
