Arrived at Tower of London 90 min. till closing could not see many things - do it on your own.

Great tour leader, but bummed that he only spoke about Tower of London very shortly, then sent us on our way. He didn't speak at all about St. Pauls except briefly on bus and then we did bus without him. Cheaper to just see without the tour.

The tour guide on this tour (Lesley) was the worst we have had for all the tours we booked with Viator. Not friendly and loved the sound of her own voice for too long when we wanted to get on and see the sites. Nice to have some history but on this tour it is a lot about looking at the sites. Thank goodness she wasn't on the River Cruise. Not good value for money this tour. It would have helped if the tour office knew what bus we had to get on as they gave out wrong information when we had trouble getting to the bus on time because of demonstrations nearby.

We enjoyed the tour. The history of the Tower of London was very interesting and our tour guide was well informed. I liked the fact that the boat ticket was good for another day. We had just arrived from the states in the morning and we needed a nap more than a boat ride. We took the river cruise a few days later and enjoyed it.

The tour was a good way to know some of the highlights of London, but did not include Buckingham Palace. Perhaps it is better to take the full day tour.

Doing what: Small-Group River Thames Bike Tour

Being a road bike rider I wasn't too sure about the fat tire bikes at first. But they turned out to be very comfortable when you are riding at a slow pace. I felt very safe with our knowledgable guide.

Doing what: Thames River Cruise, Tower of London and City of London Tour

Just great to get a feel for London icons.

The tour description is very misleading..the guided portion was 1.5 hours in length and allowed us to briefly see St. Pauls and then on to Tower of London. The guide was very knowledgeable regarding both areas but left us prior to entering the Tower and that was the end of the guided tour. The Thames Cruise was a 12 minute "taxi" ride with no information at all....Overall a very over priced 1.5 hours!!

Doing what: Small-Group River Thames Bike Tour

This tour was a lot of fun and the tour guide was very knowledgable about almost everything to do with London. He obviously loves the city which is great for those visiting to hear. Our group was only 4 people and it could have probably covered more ground as we seemed to have quite a long lunch break. Ending with a cruise along the Thames was lovely and I would definitely recommend this as a great way to see the sights of London and learn a lot along the way.

Doing what: Thames River Cruise, Tower of London and City of London Tour

A good tour for a quick overview of St. Paul's Cathedral and easy access to the Tower of London. Plenty of time on your own to spend at the tower and then a nice cruise to Westminster Pier by river boat.

This is a tour that is probably best done on your own.

We were told by the Agents office in Trafalgar Square that the tour would be starting at the Tour company office and that it would take us about 15 minutes to walk from the Trafalgar Square to the Tour Company office (near Victoria Station). The walk actually took 45 minutes at a fast pace!!! We therefore, missed the tour on Monday, August 6th. We were then re-booked for the August 8th tour. Upon arriving at the Tour Office, we heard other customers saying the same thing about having a hard time finding the tour company office. We were assured that our tour guide would make up for the inconveniences of our missed tour on August 6th. Several tour members mysteriously left the tour without letting the tour guide know. This tour was extremely face paced, would not recommend the tour for first time London visitors.
