a lot to cover in 1 day but overall great tour.. seemed well organized .. tour leader helpful and pretty good about keeping things on track.. Stonehenge interior access definitely made extra cost worthwhile
This was perfect. Bus picked us up on time - EARLY and we drove out to Stonehenge - arrived around sunrise and were able to walk among the stones. If that wasn't a great trip - add in Lacock with a great breakfast and then tour the Roman Baths. Everything was great.
Everything was taken care of. The tour guide Roan sp? was absolutely great. She provided a great experience throughout and gave the whole trip an authentic British feel. Time on the bus was spent reviewing the history and what we were doing. Could have spent more time at each location and the weather could have been better absolute drenching at Stonehenge! but this 12-hour day was the best of my trip and I can't imagine it being any better.
Great tour, very informative, a lot of history and details, great guide - Trevor. Just like other reviews mentioned, wish we had more time in Bath and a bit less time in Stonehenge.
We had an amazing time on this tour! Phil was the guide, and made the trip as awesome as it was. He told us everything there was to know about Stonehenge and took us to the most beautiful towns in Cotswolds. I would recommend this trip to anyone!
I took 3 different day trips with Viator while I was in Ireland/Scotland/London. This by far was the most informative, interesting tour of them all. Our guide was David - he is a brilliant person that was so interesting and funny that I even forgot to look out at the countryside while we were driving - he was captivating. I learned more in the 12 hours that I was with him then I ever learned in any of my history books lol. David is one of the few guides who is allowed in Windsor Castle-most guides give you an audio guide to listen to while you are in there. Stonehenge is a must see - and Bath is a lovely town. The lunch in Lacock was just ok - but the pub was old and a great place. A really enjoyable, informative day.
Excellent tour, all cramped in a day! Lacock was a quaint old village, Stonehenge was amazing
Never saw the Roman Baths as it was closed at 5pm and we arrived just after, abit disappointed for such a famous tourist destination, one would think it would open till 6?
We love Windsor Castle especially the Doll House collections
The tour guide and the driver were great !!! By the time we got to Stonehenge it was pouring rain but that just added to the mystery of the place. Had a very good time.
We had the best tour guide in the world, Rowan. She got us through Windsor Castle, beautiful Bath with time for great local ice cream cones, and Stonehenge in the rain. Always smiling, with time and patience and the knowledge to answer every question. We never felt rushed, and she ruled us with a firm but gentle hand. She was delightful. ROWAN, ROWAN, ROWAN!
The only dark spot was the start at Victoria Station. What a dump. Hopefully when Rowan is prime minister she can do something about it.
We highly enjoyed our day trip from London. Our guide Jose' was absolutely fantastic, engaging, and most importantly knowledgeable about all things London. He took time out to come down the coach and speak to each person on the tour and engage them with questions and asking for feedback / concerns. He, along with our driver Andreas made a perfect team A for the team!
On to the tour itself. We knew off the bat that the tour would not allow us much time in each of the 3 sites, but wanted to hit as many of the highlights as we were in England and this was one of the best ways to do it. We had approximately 2.5 hours in Windsor Castle, 1.5 hours each in Stonehenge and Bath. All in all we spent almost half of our day trip traveling, which was fine, as the coach was clean, air conditioned, and had Wifi for us to utilize when we weren't being entertained or taught by Jose'.
Of the three I personally enjoyed Stonehenge the best, I heard from several folks that you can't get up close to the area any longer, which was fine, but were were literally taken right up close and probably 20-30 feet away, which to me is close enough, especially in order to keep the site safe and around for thousands of years to come. 1.5 hrs was plenty of time to meander around the site, listen to the lovely audio guide and take lots of pictures. Windsor and Bath on the other hand would both have benefitted from additional time and are now on our lists of separate day trips when we inevitably return to London. Bath was such a lovely little city and after our tour of the Roman Baths we wanted to spend hours just meandering the streets and interacting with the locals, but that will have to wait until our next visit. Windsor was absolutely massive and a lovely site to behold. The audio guide was really in depth and I would have loved to have been able to spend more time there listening and experiencing the sites. Know going in what to expect so you are not disappointed in this trip!
Our guide, Daniel, was excellent, providing us with a lot of great information along the way. I like the fact that we had our own independent time to wander and not be always confined to a group. Windsor Castle was much more than what I expected, and, of course, Stonehenge is something to experience! The Roman baths are amazing, as is the town of Bath. The day was full but quite worthwhile. It was just inconvenient at the end of the day to have to get off at a designated location and then find your transportation back to your hotel.
The tour to Stonehenge and Bath is really worth of a day's trip. We did this tour in mid September. These 2 places can be crowded at times and it looks to me that we got in Stonehenge just before the big crowds. Spend little over one hour there and then onto Bath. The time spent on both sites was just right and you could have spent some more if available. The scenery while on the bus is also picturesque. Bath is a very nice town to spend the whole day also. In the end we visited these 2 places that are a must for a visit to England. Highly recommended.
Doing what: Stonehenge and Bath Day Trip from London
Being able to stand amongst the stones was worth the price and the very early departure. Our guide, David, was funny, enthusiastic and passionate about the historical sites and their conservation. The group was given plenty of time to take pictures at Stonehenge and at Bath. I never felt rushed at all. The only downside to the whole day was getting stuck in traffic on the way back to London and not having a toilet to use on the bus.
This was a fantastic day. Rohan, our guide, was full of great information, history and fun filled facts about the journey from Winsor Castle to Bath to Stonehenge. Our Driver, Andreous, did a marvelous job guiding the coach through the small roads. I felt very comfortable for the entire trip. I would highly recommend this tour. It was all breathtaking and educational and ended up being the highlight of my trip to Europe.
Our guide was probably the best tour guide I have ever encountered. So lovely and helpful and informative - very upfront with how much time we had, toilet stops, lunch stops etc etc. The tour gives you a solid amount of time at both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Bath is a little rushed, but I personally think that it feels that way because we wanted to spend days there after seeing how beautiful it is.
Incredible Journey! Private Stonehenge is the only way! Bath is an incredible city to visit and Lacock is fascinating. Our Tour Guide David was simply outstanding with historical facts and had great humour in his dialogue. The best tour you could choose, really worth it!
What a GREAT value this 3 way tour is !!! Stonehenge is a must and the highlight of the day, but the Bath visit was also nice. Windsor Castle is a classic you don't want to miss. I fully recommend this package.
This tour was excellent, even the bus ride was nice just to see the beautiful landscape.
The sunset went over Stonehenge while we were there, we could not ask for more.
The only thing I would change is to skip dessert so you can spend more time in Lacock wandering around.
The private time in the inner circle at Stonehenge was great. The Driver Ricky and Guide David were very helpful and did a nice job helping us along.
Our tour to Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Sunset at Stonehenge was totally delightful. The coach driver Andy and tour guide Daniel were fun and knowledgeable! There was plenty of time at each location giving us about 2 hours and 20 minutes at each. We were able to do everything we had planned at each venue. There are food options available at Windsor and Oxford. We ate lunch at Windsor and brought food from Oxford to eat later after Stonehenge on the way back to London. Despite it being August, it was cold at Stonehenge and my jacket was needed. I would recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to Stonehenge from London. The ability to walk among the stones inside the inner circle is definitely worth the private sunset tour. In fact this was my favorite event during my entire trip to London. Thank you Andy, and Daniel for an amazing and unforgettable experience!
We spent a wonderful day visiting these three beautiful places. The private stay in Stonehenge was really outstanding. This trip gives you the unique chance to walk around and inside the circle before the general península time, in a relaxed way with a small group of people, so you can feel the special atmosphere of Stonehenge. The later visit to Lacock and Bath completes an unforgettable trip.
It was very well organized, a comfortable coach, and very kind and friendly staff .
Truly amazing! I bought this tour for my boyfriend's birthday, to be used on our recent trip to Europe London, Paris, Rome. Our tour guide, Reese, was entertaining, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer questions that our group had. His recommendations for food / pubs in London were our favorites during our stay. And the tour day ended up being one of our favorite days during our two weeks in Europe. I would recommend this to anyone that just wants to see even one of these landmarks, as we went mostly for Stonehenge, but were surprised to enjoy Windsor and Bath just as much!
What a fantastic day trip ...from the beauty of Windsor Castle to the fascinating baths of Roman time and finishing with the mystery of time ... Stonehenge!! A must take tour!!!

Very enjoyable! It was a great chance to see 3 areas that would have been logistically difficult or taken much more time without a car. Our charming guide Augusta gave us the choice of walking tours with her, or free time in Bath and Stonehenge. And lunch was quite good in a charming village - better than expected, actually. Definitely recommended!
Georgia was a very knowledgeable and helpful guide. She was excellent at explaining the Stonehenge as prior to this visit I always thought it was just stones in a circle but I appreciate the significant to mankind more now. Bath was beautiful and will love to come back again Roman Bath was worth every penny of it. The lunch was not bad and the little village was beautiful .
