Doing what: Skip the Line: Tower of London Tickets

Tower of London is great- you can visit everything in a few hours (3-4). If you have a chance, visit during the winter months and go to the twilight tour - great option! During the day in the afternoon you can see them do the "Word" - which is the delivering of the password to get in at night. They have lots of costumed people as well as the beefeaters to answer questions and give tours. I suggest making this part of your London adventure!

The Tower of London is an interesting place to visit. I recommend spending extra money at the site for the self- guided audio tour. At a normal pace, this site takes about three hours to go through.

Doing what: The Original London Sightseeing Tour: Hop-on Hop-off

Our family picked up the tour at the Marble Arch location. The Viator person was extremely helpful and gave us so many great tips to maximize our one day in London. We also bought tickets for the London Eye and Tower of London at that location, which was a real time saver. I wish I had the Viator's man's name - he was so friendly and helpful. We would definately use Viator again. We had a wonderful time!

Very useful. The ticket lines were long. That's all it really bypasses, but we found it useful especially during the high tourist season. The Tower of London was our favorite place in London. Best thing is to get there early. The line to get into the crown jewels gets long. There is a lot to see and hear about. I would recommend getting the tour commentary devices, much like a cell phone. Great views of the Tower Bridge as well. Expect to spend 3+ hours.

Fun experience - Paul was a great tour guide. Tower of London and Crown Jewels, St. Paul Cathedral, Changing of the Guard - all worked out well. Had nice luncheon at Walker's and day was topped off w/Tea at Harrod's. Very enjoyable day!

This was an excellent tour to do when time is limited. The tour guide was informative and the open top Harrods Bus was great. It was timed to perfection starting with the tower of London tour, the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and then completing with the Harrods High Tea. All in all an excellent experience!

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

I would highly recommend this tour if you are having a short stay in London as this tour covers so much. We had read mixed reviews prior to booking but we said we'd take a chance and were glad that we did. They picked us up on time from our hotel and brought us to Victoria station where we were introduced to our guide for the day. Our guide Alan especially made this trip enjoyable for us as he had a very in depth knowledge of London and he was also very entertaining. Also our bus driver, Malcolm, was very friendly and helpful. One piece of advice I would give is to try and do this tour on any day other than a Sunday as a lot of places are closed. We began the tour by visiting Westminster Abbey but couldn't go inside due to it being a Sunday, we were then brought to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben on the hour so we could hear the chimes which was a nice touch. We then had a guided tour of the Tower of London followed by the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. However, it was very busy due to it being a Sunday so we were unable to get down to the front of the palace so we just seen them marching along the road, we then had a cruise along the Thames followed by lunch. Then it was off to St Paul's but again we were unable to go inside due to service. We opted for a flight on the London Eye at the end, it began raining which restricted our view. Overall really enjoyed it but try and do it during the week if possible!

I would strongly this to anyone interested in getting an intro to London. It was thorough but leisurely. We saw all the sights and had plenty of time at the Tower of London, the Thames River cruise, the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral. Our guide, Damien, was great. Had constant informative commentary and always gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. The tour also gave us great ideas on what to do over the following few days. Do it!

The Tower of London is incredible. We were in London for only a few days and this was number 1 on our list to see. I order this online ahead of time so that I wouldn't have to worry about wasting time in line. As it turned out, it wasn't crowded on a Thursday in March, but I liked knowing ahead of time that things would work out OK , and they did! It was EASY exchanging the voucher at the Groups window. I recommend reserving ahead of time, just for the piece of mind, especially if you are going to be there during tourist season.

This was a fantastic way to start our trip in London. As soon as we checked into the Trafalgar Hilton we went one block away to the Visitor Center and we able to get right on the yellow tour bus. We decided to just ride the entire tour and then the nest day we were able to take advantage of the wonderful boat ride on the Thames River. Went to Greenwich and returned at the Tower of London stop. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, entertaining and courteous. A great introduction to London.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and lunch was great. The group was small which made the day more enjoyable. Only areas for improvement - we literally ran through parts of the Tower of London and Central London. When it was not raining, some of the people on the tour kept their umbrellas open when made it difficult to see. They refused to put them away or to stand at the rear of the group. Rude,,,

The Tower of London is a MUST do. Be sure to go to the crown jewels first thing to avoid the crowds. The beefeater guides are great. We loved all loved it, including our seven year old!

We went on a monday afternoon in may so there really was no line to worry about. The tower of london is an absolute must see. It took us about three and half hours to tour but is an amazing piece of British history.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Tower of London Tickets

Tower of London is a must to do in London. A word of advice, you only skip the ticket line, you do still have a small line to get into the tower and you need to go directly to the Crown Jewels when you get there. We arrived on a Sunday around 10am to the Tower, skipped the small line and waited maybe 10 min to get into the Tower. From there we went directly to the Crown Jewels, where there was no line, and came back to the Beefeater tour at 11am after seeing the Jewels. When we were done with the Beefeater tour approximately 45 min later, the line to the Crown Jewels was so long that it was starting to wrap around the White Tower. It must have taken the people standing in line over 2 hours just to see the Jewels. Get to the Tower early and go see the Crown Jewels directly.
