Wonderful trip! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. My only disappointment was in Warwick Castle. Too touristy for us but the peacock garden was amazing! Good place for families with young kids - they seemed to be having a ball! I would also have liked to see more of the "neighborhoods" in the Cotswolds. I don't think the "drive-by" down the main road gave us the full Cotswold experience. A couple of trips down a side road would have made it a much better experience. The coach was great and comfortable and everyone on the tour was friendly. All in all, it was a great day out!

We had a great day with David and Malcolm and loved the tour overall. Our only qualms: The pick-up coach was really quite late, and the tour bus was late leaving as well. We would advise others to go directly to Victoria coach station to start the tour. Also, Warwick Castle was beautiful, but it was very commercialised and it was directed towards children, with kitschy music blaring and wax figures dressed in Medieval costumes. We still enjoyed the view from the top though! Stratford and Oxford were lovely and we enjoyed the commentary on the bus. David was an awesome guide! Very cute dynamic between David and Malcolm. We never would have been able to see everything on our own in such a short time so we enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to plan too much! Definitely worth the money, and nice to get out of the city for the day. Booked another tour from Viator for Limerick and the cliffs of Moher.

We had a great time, and would recommend this day trip to our friends. When touring Warwick Castle, please remind guests that they should only attempt the climb to the top of the Ramparts Tower if they are in good shape. Not an activity for "couch potatoes." There are hundreds of steep, narrow, winding steps to the top and back down again. Even so, this was our favorite stop on the tour.

I love castle and Warwick castle has topped my list of favourites!! If only I had ENOUGH TIME!! It would have definitely been helpful if the tour guide had suggested what to see first since time was so limited but luckily I had the chance to ask one of the friendly staff at the castle - they were extremely nice and helpful! Luckily I saw what I mosted wanted to see - the bedrooms, dining hall but I didn't get to see the dungeons, towers and gardens.
All in all the castle was amazing - and I would probably have to go again to see the rest.

I expected to see more of Oxford and felt only visiting Jesus College didn't suffice.

Straford upon Avon - I only had enough time to see either the actors acting bits of Shakepear's play or where he was buried, went to school and the Royal Shakespear company - I was a hard choice to make.

The tour guide could have been a bit more cheerier and less negative/cynical/sarcastic. She was also too loud on the microphone at the beginning. I wish I was warned I was going to be on a trip with Spanish tourists - it was annoying to have to listen to the tour guide speaking Spanish for half of my tour.

Warwick Castle and Oxford were great. Stratford was a little of a disappointment since it is to "touristy"
The guide was good, but not the best. She left half of the group lost when she walked fast and turned right. We had to guess where she went. Eventually she recognized the had lost part of the group and went back to find us. By then we had guessed which way she went.

Warwick Castle and Oxford University were amazing. Stratford was a waste of time and just a tourist trap. Time could be better spent driving around IN the Cotswolds not just past them.

An excellent opportunity to go to great places and know a little bit more about each one of them. Sadly too little time in Warwick Castle and Cotswolds, because we didn't even stop there. But all in all, a great day!
Our tour guide Saskia, so funny and very interesting all she told us about historic facts. Last year I took the Windsor, Bath, Stonehenge tour and she was our tour guide, so I was very lucky to have her as my guide this year also.

The tour bus was up-to-date, clean and spacious. Our guide was interesting and informative, and handled the logistics of the trip very well. Warwick Castle has been well adapted to provide a quality and entertaining experience for all ages, without sacrificing real historical and educational content -- you can choose what interests you. Our guide chose a good small-town tavern for group lunch. The Stratford visit was limited by time to the house where Shakespeare was born -- probably better for seeing how a small-town tradesman lived and worked in the 16th century than to get much feel for Shakespeare -- but our guide's on-the-bus banter helped make the experience feel more Shakespearean. The guide fit a lot of sightseeing into our late afternoon guided walk through Oxford, with excellent historical insights -- very well done. A highly worthwhile and enjoyable day trip.

This was a pretty good tour. Worth the trip. Oxford is interesting. Learned what parts of Harry Potter was actually filmed there. The Cotswold's was just a drive through the area. The driver does slow down to get good pictures of the thatched roofs and the Cotswold lime stone used to build the homes. One thing to look out for is the Blenheim Castle (Duke of Marlborough). It is huge and probably worth a trip back to see. Stratford was a quick tour of Shakespear's birth home. If you want to see where he is buried, you will need to get directions and hustle to it and back. There are plenty of places to grab lunch in Stratford as well. Warwick Castle was interesting. Not quite enough time to see everything, but you get a good taste of it.

Excellent tour-good value for our money. Appreciated the arrangements to get picked up. Statford-on-Avon stop was a little rushed. Add on another 45 min. as we rushed our lunch and would like to have seen more. Would hae also liked a little more time at Warwick castle.

Warwick Castle was the highlight for me. It is the most well preserved medieval castle. The wax figures in costume and the recordings brought the castle's history through the ages to life. Would highly recommend. The tour lost a star however, through the guide who spoilt the day by stating that Australians are the most racist of all people. After to listening to this for 5 minutes my husband requested that she not make sweeping generalisations. She should either keep her opinions to herself or check the nationalities of her clients before she speaks to avoid insulting them.

Both our guide and driver were excellent. Hectic day but got to see plenty. After the 3 full-day tours, it's obvious that their only asset is their Blue Badge tour guides who had years of training and experience. Word of caution, do look closely at the various prices of the same tour before you book to see what's included and understand the difference in price. There are two Warwick Castle trips on the Viator website, essentially the same thing but priced differently. It's been a week since i inquired but I am still awaiting a reply from Viator customer support regarding the difference of the two tours.

I chose this tour for the historical sites at Oxford and Stratford-o-A but the part I enjoyed most was Warwick Castle! It was a real surprise. It is run by Madam Tassauds and there are wax figures and actors to recreate different themes from the castle’s history. The stops at each of the three sites on this tour were fairly rushed, but that is what to expect with this type of tour. If you particularly like one of the places you can always go back independently.

Our tour guide was very good. She even took us on a personal walking tour through Oxford. We didn't feel like there was enough time to see Warwick Castle and we chose to listen to one of the guided tours through the main part of the castle and we didn't get to see a large part of the rest of it. The apple pie at the pub we stopped at was amazing!

Warwick Castle is an amazing place to explore. Our group was very small which made the tour very personal. Plenty of time at each stop to shop and have free time.
