Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford Custom Day Trip
We just got back from our trip to London, and the day trip out to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford was fantastic. The tour guide, Rich, and driver Jose were also great. They had a wealth of knowledge to share about each place and offered up great info on places to visit and dine once back in London. We had plenty of time in each segment of the tour. The only small complaint I have is where the pick up location is. My hotel was not part of the list, so when I called they told me it was Victoria Coach Station on Buckingham Palace Road. There are signs for the Coach Station at Victoria Station but once you get outside you don't know where it is. I didnt' know it was a building, I assumed it was where all the bus stops were. Otherwise, it was a great trip out of the city.

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
The tour started off at Windsor Castle. We arrived there around 10am and were given 2 hours to tour the Castle. While it is not a lot of time, after reading reviews of this day trip on this website, I knew that to make the most of it we should keep moving. So we sort of hustled through the audio tour, skipping a good deal of it, but taking some time to get a good feel for the interior rooms of the Castle. We then caught a few minutes of the changing of the guard and then went into the church to see the sights there. We were just about running back to the bus and we left 2 people behind, but it was a great trip overall and I'm glad I did it. When leaving Windsor Castle, pick up a sandwich to go from E.A.T. and bring it back to the bus, thats your main meal of the day. Bath was a very nice little town, tons of little shops and cafes. There was a lot you could see in the Roman Baths, but after seeing the baths themselves, I didn't really need to hear about all of the little details, we took the extra time to wander the streets of town for a little bit. Then we had about 45 minutes at Stonehenge, which was plenty, take some pictures, wander around - good enough for me. Its a very long day, but it is relaxing to see the country side on the bus. If I had to guess I'd say it was about an hour from London to Windsor Castle, about 2 hours from there to Bath, an hour to Stonehenge, then maybe an hour and a half back to London.

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
Great day trip. The sites are very much worth visiting. Windsor Castle was amazing. We wish we had more time to explore these areas but if you are limited on time in London but want to see some other sites, this is the way to go

Doing what: Small Group Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip with Pub Lunch from London
Great trip! The tour guide Jessica was super-smart, friendly, humorous, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Bus driver John was excellent especially on the narrow roads near Lacock as well as friendly. Stonehenge was fascinating to see, Windsor castle was beautiful, and Bath was interesting as well as beautiful. The countryside gives an excellent counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of London. Thumbs up! The only "con" I can think of is that the bus did not have a lavatory, so you need to plan ahead the trip going back to London is a few hours long, so go easy on the beers in Lacock.

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
Next time we go to London we will take extra time to visit the town where Windsor Castle is. It is so cute! The tour allows you only to vist the castle. We were happy!

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford Custom Day Trip
The tour guide is very professional. Some of us were late to return to the coach after visiting the Windsor Castle due to road closure for a parade rehersal. The guide not only waited for us and picked up some others who were left behind by other tour guides in the location and send them to their next stop. I appreciate his working attitude and caring very much. It's lucky for me to have this guide for my first day tour in London. I shall recommend my friends to book similar tours when they visit London. It's value-for-money!

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford Custom Day Trip
Great tour. We had a very limited time in London and our son really wanted to see Stonehenge. This tour made it a worthwhile trip. We paid the additional for the Stonehenge and Windsor admission. Windsor Castle was a great stop, we went through it quickly, but had time to see everything we wanted and grabbed some delicious sandwiches at "Eat" in the village to eat on the bus which they had no problem with. Stonehenge is just what you expect, big rocks in the ground, but the quick stop there made our son very happy, he loved it! You have just enough time to do the audio tour around the stones, it was cold and rainy, so we did it quickly! The last stop, Oxford, was a wonderful surprise. An incredible place, we got a walking tour with the guide and had plenty of time to wander around on our own. We have done a variety of tours around the world, and this was the best tour guide we have ever had. He was professional, educated, articulate and interested in getting to know his guests and meet their needs. Perfect tour for families who want quick stops, enough time to experience new sights but not enough time for the kids to get bored. Our kids are 9 and 12 and they really enjoyed it, and learned a few things about history along the way, money well spent!

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford Custom Day Trip
We are so happy we took this tour. Our tour guide was so informative and nice, he made the trip very enjoyable. When you have limited time on your trip, this is the tour to see. We were able to see each place. It would have been nice to have maybe a hour more at both Windsor Castle and Oxford, but it would also make for a long day. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to London on a vacation.

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford Custom Day Trip
A wonderful tour and excellent local guide. Very efficient and helpful support staff. Stonehenge was magnificent - you cant understand the feeling until you are there. Windsor Castle was majestic - from the gardens to the armor displays, everyone will get something from visiting Oxford - a great walk around Oxford to take in the colleges and historical buildings. The tour is just long enough so you arrive back in London ready to take in London's nightlife. I'd definitely recommend this tour!

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
My 18 year old daughter loved the entire day. We got picked up at the hotel next door promptly. It's true that you don't spend very much time at each location, but the bus ride in between was very relaxing, and our guide was informative and interesting. This is definitely worth doing if you want to see key spots outside of London. To top things off, it was totally unexpected, but we got a "front row seat" for the changing of the guards at Windsor Castle. Bath was so quaint, and Stonehenge was magnificent. We even enjoyed having lunch in the bus after purchasing it from a cafe at Windsor Castle. I would highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle Day Trip from London
This was the perfect combination for a day trip. It was my first time in London and Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace were both on my "must see" list so I was happy to be able to see them both on the same day. We had ample time at both places and never felt rushed. The only suggestion I would have is to let your tourists know that they will have time to get lunch after Windsor, back in London, before the Buckingham Palace tour. We weren't aware of this so we took time to have an early lunch in Windsor before heading back to London. If we had known there would be time for lunch later, we would have waited and spent additional time in Windsor. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Be sure to allow lots of time for shopping here.

Doing what: Small Group Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip with Pub Lunch from London
This tour was unquestionably the highlight of our entire trip.We were particularly impressed with Stonehenge, which was take-your-breath-away amazing. While visiting the site, we had ample time to walk the grounds and listen to pre-recorded messages that described the site's origins, facts and myths. Bath was almost as amazing. We visited the site and museum of the Roman Baths for a peek into history that just wouldn't have been possible in London. Windsor Castle was impressive, too, but for our liking, nothing could have topped Stonehenge and Bath. Along the way, we also visited the medieval town of Lacock Harry Potter was filmed there, in part and had lunch there in a lovely pub. The food was surprisingly good! We were looking forward to this trip, but concerned because some prior tours we had taken simply didn't deliver too rushed, lousy transportation, bad food, etc.. This tour, however, exceeded our expectations in every way. We had ample time in all locations, the bus transportation was convenient and comfortable, while the guide was extremely personable and informative. This was truly a memorable day from start to finish.

Doing what: Small Group Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip with Pub Lunch from London
This was my first time using Viator. Before booking this trip I read the bulk of the reviews on the available tours from London. I'm happy to report that this was an excellent tour. I would highly recommend this tour. I'll comment only on the negative points raised in other reviews. I'd defer going to the train station to meet the tour group which is a little bit overwhelming with all the people. The fact that you get up early to travel from hotel to hotel is really no big deal. You get a chance to see a few parts of the city you normally wouldn't this takes 40 mins max. Suggestion: Make sure you call 24 hours before hand to confirm your pick up location. Time spent in Windsor castle was well calculated in my opinion. Stonehenge was great and again time well apportioned. Our tour also included Leacock. Lunch was ok. Don't get the ploughman's lunch option. It's a small village and 30 mins to explore is enough in my opinion. Bath is nice, again really enough time to explore but you would be rushed to do shopping. The actual place to do the tour of Bath is not large at all. And we were fully aware that the tour didn't include the admission. We skipped this optional tour and just walked around the city which was very nice! The tour guide was EXCELLENT! Great knowledge, organizational skills. Well done! Would go again! Would highly recommend!

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
This tour complemented our short trip to London PERFECTLY! While we would agree with other reviewers who say more time along the way would be better, this one-day jaunt worked perfectly for our trip where time was of the essence -- no small feat considering it filled one of our days almost entirely. The tour guide was very pleasant and kept the group appropriately engaged sharing historical and cultural tidbits at the right times while also allowing some quiet time. Seeing Windsor Castle, we were pleasantly surprised by how charming it is, and the must-see Stonehenge really made for a wonderful London visit.

Doing what: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London
This is a must do in London, though its a long day the trip is well worth it. Our guide was awesome, and if you have a good guide like him the day flies by. Windsor Castle was great, and Roman Baths were simply beautiful. I wish we could have spent more time at the Roman Baths.
