Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

What a view! We scaled the Shard on a beautiful sunny evening in London and could see far and wide, The top deck is enclosed but fresh air infiltrates through which is very cool. The lower deck has several interactive telescopes that allow you to locate and identify specific buildings and landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace. Highly recommend!

Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

Terrible weather so not what it might have been BUT the sensible people at the Shard have given us a refund to be used within 12 months. Can't say fairer than that.

Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

Fantastic and spectacular views. Initial signage and queuing slightly chaotic and unclear - different staff gave different info but all very friendly and welcoming. Would love to go again at night

Doing what: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

I took my 13 year old son and we both really enjoyed the day. The wait in the queue was close to an hour, but once we were in we loved every moment.

Doing what: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

The bus stop was extremely hard to find, even with a map so get there early. i found it incredibly annoying how they just drop you off with no instruction. I arrived at the entrance of the start of the tour and they told me I had to wait an hour and a half because you have to enter at different times. I wasn't told this. The tour itself was pretty great and the gift shop is really good. Be sure to try the butter beer it was really yum. However I finished the tour and shopping at 2pm and I was told I had to wait till 430pm to be picked up. Luckily the really nice rep organised for me to go on the earlier bus. its worth going to see but they really need to work out their timing issues, I had to wait all up around 2 and a half hours, which is not acceptable.

Doing what: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

The actual tour of the Harry Pottter studio is excellent and there is plenty of time to see everything. The bus trip from Victoria was reliable in terms of timing, but given the length of drive it could have been made a lot better by showing a Harry Potter film or even having an audio of a Potter story. It was a cold day so the bus was quite chilly, so perhaps something to think about. Overall it wasn't bad value andI would definitely visit the studios again but would probably make my own way there.

Doing what: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

We toured the studios with our two teenagers, 13 and 15, and we all had a good time. It was a bit underwhelming, though, as if something was missing. The waiting area where everyone lines up is bland, and the wait can take a while. The gift shop was large, pricy and probably doesn't contain anything you haven't already seen elsewhere, if your family are fans of Harry Potter. The sets are quite interesting, as are the figures, and you'd have to be awfully jaded not to admire the artistry involved. The bus that took us there was uncomfortably outfitted with smallish seats, hot, and people were jam-packed, so the ride wasn't any fun (sorry, Viator). But we were glad to have gone-the visit just wasn't a highlight of our 8 day trip to London.

Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

It was very hard to find the entrance; little signing, and many possibilities for getting confused with the station! The views were amazing, though - new perspectives on London land-marks, St. Paul's especially, and the Tower. Biut we missed an audio guide, which we were told doesn't exist. It would have added to it all, I'm sure. Still, the signs indicating what was what, were clear and helpful, also the machines to zoom in. A unique experience!

Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

It was too expensive with not enough information about the views we were looking at

Doing what: The Shard London: The View from The Shard

Obviously the views were amazing but no way is this attraction it worth the current ticket price (and I bought a discounted ticket for me and my son but it was still £43). I expected there to be some kind of visitor centre though, to tell you more about the building and its creation but there was nothing. Optional souvenir photo costs £22, far too expensive so we didn't buy it. Staff generally very helpful and friendly. Have based my rating partly on the cost.

Doing what: London's Chocolate Walking Tour

Very disappointed it was a waste of money. We only went to 5 chocolate shops and the tastings were no more that what you would get if you walked in off the high street. We went to
an ice cream shop no chocolate in there and then finally got left outside Fortnum and Masons and told tour ends here.

Doing what: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

We were very disappointed in the bus ride out to the studio. Although there were monitors, there was no audio telling us what to expect when we got there, nwith o preview of what we might see, no excerpts from HP movies.
We were very disappointed. Although there were monitors, there was no taped explanation of what lay ahead at the studio. No excerpts from films that would be meaningful, eg a scene from Hogwarts dining hall.

We had a bus tour the day before of HP in London that was filled with vignettes and film clips that made every thing come alive.

I have told everyone to find their own transport, buy tickets on line and they will save money and have an equally good experience.

sorry.

We had had a bus tour with Brit travel around London of HP sights that was fabulous with all sorts of vignettes.

I have told everyone. Just go on your own, buy your own tickets and find your own transportation because once there, the tour is self-guided.
