Christmas Shopping in London

If you’re after something a bit more unusual as gifts this year avoid the high street shops in London and try one of these:

1. Traditional Christmas Market at Southbank -  60 little wooden chalets strung along the riverfront from the London Eye to the Southbank Centre sell unique handmade crafts, soaps, jewellery, wooden toys, lace and ceramics. And to help you shop, there’s the usual mulled wine and gingerbread, crepes, bratwurst sausages etc. For the kids there’s a carousel, and for foodies there’s a one off chocolate festival (December 9-11) and other gourmet delights popping up throughout December.
