Doing what: London Pass
Short Version: DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!
The details: The london pass was THE BEST thing we did in traveling to London. We chose the pass WITH the travel card option, and although it is a little pricey, we made our money back and then some! Just the freedom to hop on and off the tube all week (we did the 6 day pass) and prepaid admission to all the museums and sights were well worth it, but if you really get a chance use some of the other perks as well! We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Orangerie at Kensington Palace and enjoyed a discount (either 10 or 20%) and we were able to receive free audio guides at many of the museums which really enhances the overall experience of the visit. Truly a must have for any person going to London and be sure to READ ALL THE DEALS WHEN YOU GET IT to make sure you are getting the best value out of your purchase!

Doing what: Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle Day Trip from London
Just a magnificent day. Would look at visiting Buckingham Palace without paying this company as they only dropped us at the door, met by the guide who promptly disappeared after giving the tickets to the reception desk

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
I would highly recommend this tour if you are having a short stay in London as this tour covers so much. We had read mixed reviews prior to booking but we said we'd take a chance and were glad that we did. They picked us up on time from our hotel and brought us to Victoria station where we were introduced to our guide for the day. Our guide Alan especially made this trip enjoyable for us as he had a very in depth knowledge of London and he was also very entertaining. Also our bus driver, Malcolm, was very friendly and helpful. One piece of advice I would give is to try and do this tour on any day other than a Sunday as a lot of places are closed. We began the tour by visiting Westminster Abbey but couldn't go inside due to it being a Sunday, we were then brought to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben on the hour so we could hear the chimes which was a nice touch. We then had a guided tour of the Tower of London followed by the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. However, it was very busy due to it being a Sunday so we were unable to get down to the front of the palace so we just seen them marching along the road, we then had a cruise along the Thames followed by lunch. Then it was off to St Paul's but again we were unable to go inside due to service. We opted for a flight on the London Eye at the end, it began raining which restricted our view. Overall really enjoyed it but try and do it during the week if possible!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Hampton Court Palace Tickets
Excellent day, the visitor experience at Hampton Court Palace is well thought out and delivered. There is so much to do that we didn't get to do everything (winter opening hours) - will definitely go back! The costumed guides had incredible knowledge, were very engaging and really helped one to understand the life story of the Palace. A fantastic experience.

She knew London like the back of her hand we were able to see the Queens guards on horse back change at Hyde Park, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Clarence House,Lunch in a great Pub, River Cruise the list goes on. This tour was EXCELLENT.

Doing what: Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle Day Trip from London
I thought this was great. After pounding all around London by ourselves, it was wonderful to climb on board a coach and let someone else do all the navigating. Getting right into the Palace and the Castle is worth a lot - no standing in long lines. We definitely would recommend this as a great use of time.

Very good tour, unfortunately changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace didn't take place that day (only every second day in "winter" time) but the guide showed us a good spot to see it next day.

It was definitely nice not to have to wait in line (and there was a considerable line) and the tour was well worth the ticket price, so glad I got to see this beautiful Palace!

Great travel directions supplied by Viator to reach the palace from downtown London and to return. The palace is looking great and so are the gardens which was my main reason for the trip. I like how the palace has added some clever interactive events for guest participation. Both children and adults seemed to enjoy them. Great indoor and outdoor places to grab lunch or a snack, and I especially enjoyed the new garden gift shop in the palace. Note to Viator, the only advance or group ticket window available at the palace is for guests who purchased their entry tickets online from the palace and not other vendors like Viator. I had to go through the regular ticket window...thank goodness for no long line at the regular window or i would have been disappointed. You may want to check this out or revise your promotions.

Doing what: London in One Day Sightseeing Tour
This was a great tour and we saw a lot in a day. Most of the morning was spent in the bus seeing some of the sights like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, Prince Albert's memorial and the Victoria and Albert museum, Harrods and more. Then we went to Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guard. Our expert guide Richard told us where to stand for the best view and great pictures. After lunch it was on to St Paul's Cathedral. Amazing! The wisteria was in bloom along one wall on our way in. The stained glass, the ceilings, the dome, the crypt - all fascinating. It is a Must See. Our next stop was the Tower of London with it's gory history, the ravens and their story and of course the crown jewels. Our boat cruise on the Thames ended the day with great views of Big Ben and the London Eye.

Fantastic day trip, Hampton Court Palace is located just outside central London, approx. 25 min train ride. The tours within the palace were very interesting but make sure to leave enough time for the gardens as they are magnificent, especially in SpringSummer.

Doing what: London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
We took this tour one day and the Windsor Tour the next and saw everything there was to see. This tour took us from the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels, a short cruise down the Thames to the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and left us at the London Eye. It was fantastic.
