There's nothing like watching a Shakespearian play in THE theatre it was written for - albeit a rehearsal of Midsummer Night's Dream. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and there were lots of interactive materials to add to the experience. After the tour, we were free to wander back with the audio sets and continue our self-tour. Certainly a highlight of my life :-)

Brilliant tour and afternoon tea! I booked this tour for me and my sister and we both loved every minute of it! The tour guide was excellent in telling us all about London in Shakespearean times and all about the Globe Theater. It's so interesting to discover things you never knew! After we did our tour we went to the Swan for afternoon tea - which was delicious! We both had the gentlemen's tea - definitely worth choosing if you fancy something a little different from sandwich! I would definitely recommend doing the tea afterwards. Also make sure you give yourself time to look around the exhibition - there is so much more interesting things to find out there and we even saw people sword fighting.

The globe theater tour is a must for any Shakespeare enthusiast! Very informative and interesting for any age (we traveled with 4 children ages 9 to 20 - they all enjoyed the tour! Only wish we had time to see a performance (not included in the tour)

Firstly, the exhibition is a great way to see the context around London theater during the time of Shakespeare. You get a great sense of what life was like back then, and why people loved the theatre. And then the tour of the actual theater is amazing with a interesting tour guide. It is really fascinating to see how the theater would have looked when Shakespeare's plays were originally being performed there. A real London experience!

We went in the morning on this tour and had a great time! Our tour guide was really animated and gave us a bunch of information about the history of the theater. She seemed to really love acting and what she did. We got to watch an acting class on stage and just enjoy this magnificent theater. A definite must-see!

Tour was very organized for such a large group. Our guide projected her voice well as two other tours were taking place at the same time. We sat on separate sides of the theater so cross-conversation was not an issue. The information was interesting and added to my prior knowledge of the Globe. I suggest making reservations to see one of the performances before leaving the tour.

We were able to visit quite a few places, and all at a discount with this pass. I can see that the fast pass on some attractions would be valuable, although it wasn't an option at Westminster and the other places we visited were at a time of day where we didn't have lines anyway. We used the tube quite a lot, so having the travel pass served us well, and paying in US dollars ahead of time prevented us from having fees from ATMs and credit cards added to our travel spending. It was easy finding the visitor's bureau to pick the passes up. There is a separate area just for picking up passes with your vouchers. I would recommend this to anyone going over to London and wanting to see many sites. On our pass, we saw Westminster, the Tower, Shakespeare's Globe, Thames cruise, and Windsor, with unlimited use of the underground that we took full advantage of. Nice toknow we could have used the London bus and other forms of transportation as well.

I highly recommend the London Pass and Travel Card combo. We only had 3 days in London and bought the 2 day Pass along with the Card. We were able to visit both the Wimbleldon and Wembley Stadiums, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Shakespeare Theater, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, but unfortunately, there was a riot, so we did not make it to Westminster Abbey.
The underground and double decker buses were very easy to fgure out with a map. If you are staying by Kings Cross Station- you can take this train to Heathrow Airport ( it takes about 1 hour) so make sure you give yourself enoght timeSan Francisco.
A very satisfied customer from San Francisco.

Excellent tour of the theatre. Guide was most knowledgable and entertaining. Pre-booking the tour was not necessary on the day we visited but probably busy during a busier tourist season.l

Fantastic tour of the Globe theatre. Our group was lucky enough to get to sit in on the dress rehersals - unforgettable experience. Definately a must for anyone visiting London.

As a former English major, seeing Shakespeare's Globe Theater was at the top of my "to do" list while visiting London! The theater is beautiful, and the tour guide was very informative. I think I took nearly 100 photos of the theater alone! lol I was also extremely grateful that they let me use my ticket two days later than I'd originally booked it for. I highly recommend this excursion and will be using Viator for my future excursions.

This was absolutely fabulous. It was very easy to spend a half day here. The guided tour of the theatre was excellent and then you could stay as long as you liked to enjoy the museum. Don't miss this.
