Doing what: Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Good tour. Reene was a very good guide and was very informative. Shame that some of the houses you were not able to see as they were hidden with either a wall or trees.

Doing what: Movie Stars' Homes Tour

This tour was not one of the tour that I could be proud of. Leaving in L.A., I would expect more as far as ...hello...this is world famous Landmark., Hollywood !!! Why it was so bleack ? It should not be standarized. People out of state and over sees deserve much better experience for the money this tour cost. Felt a bit of shame for Californians. But it just my opinion.

Fascinating trip particularly the visit to Sony studios.

I've used Viator while traveling in other countries before - and comparably speaking, this was horrendous. The check in process was extremely disorganized.. From the time of our arrival, we waited a good 1 hour, before our tour guide finally got on the bus and introduced himself. He started by complaining about how tired he was, having only gotten 6 hours of sleep. After his lousy, narcissistic introduction, we walked back around and looked at the Chinese Theatre (where we had been waiting all that time) again for fifteen minutes. No description, nothing. Just, "Here it is. Meet me again in 15 minutes." After that, we finally got back on the bus and began the tour. Mind you this was now about 10:05 (and we had been instructed to arrive at 8:45 am) We drove to see the Hollywood sign. Then drove by all of the stars homes. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, but I couldn't help feeling that he was also completely full of crap. After seeing the stars homes, we drove down Rodeo Dr. Then, at 11:45, the driver/tour guide dropped us off at the Farmers market - again we were on our own. So, what was supposed to be a three-hour tour was actually more like an hour and forty minutes. After eating lunch on our own for 45 minutes, a different driver came to pick us up to return us to the Chinese Theatre. Again we waited on the hot bus for a good 20 minutes while this driver disappeared and came back having bought himself some lunch. My suggestion - buy yourself a good map of the stars homes and drive around to see them yourself!!! This will save you about $50 per person!

Doing what: Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Good fun and the guide was very Knowledgeable, but the tour is a bit out of date as you tend to visit homes where famous people used to live. Great visit to the hills for a better view of the Hollywood sign.

Gude was very knowledgeable but stops were not long enough to get really good photos of movie star homes

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Boring and would never do the trip again

Once we left on the bus, everything was good. However, getting to the Starline office was mass confusion. There were people everywhere in long lines and nobody knew where to go.

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Unfortunately we had a grouchy tour guide who was not happy to answer questions and gave very little information about what we were seeing. We found ourselves trying to eavesdrop on other tours so we could actually learn something. The other downfall to the tour was that it was a regular tour bus instead of an open top bus like other companies had. It made it very difficult to see things she was pointing out. Overall I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Interesting but very dependent on tour bus driver, our one was OTT on knowing all the stars personnally and being big friends of his after the tenth one it got too much, we also didnt get the stops the guide said, but for seeing the homes it was worth the cost

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Really enjoyed our Hollywood tour from 'Stan the Man.' Friendly, informative and extremely knowledgable. We did a half day tour, as we felt that a full day would have been a bit much. Think it was a good decision, as it was very hot, although the air conditioning in the van was fine.
