Periodically, the Dolby also plays host to charity benefits, movie premieres, special events and other televised award shows. The theater's soaring stage, one of the largest in the United States, has featured the national premiere of Pixar's Brave, the American Idol finals, the Daytime Emmys, the American Ballet Theatre and even President Barack Obama, while out on the campaign trail.

Doing what: Hollywood Walk of Fame CityPass
BUY IT! You will save so much money and time lining up and queuing. All popular attractions for one price. Soo convenient and we were able to fit all 4 in the one day. It was raining the day we were in Hollywood and the wax musuem and Kodak Theatre and Stars homes were indoors out of rain. Kodak Theatre was good unfortunately you cant take photos inside. Stars homes tour was a bit of a disapointment though because the celebrities arent recent or that well known and you cant remember whose house is who anyway when you look at your photos but was still fun to do.

Doing what: Hollywood Walk of Fame CityPass
Great value. We most enjoyed the Movie Star Homes Tour. We chose the Kodak Theatre guided tour and had a great time seeing where the Oscar is hosted.

Doing what: Go Los Angeles Card
Great value! We purchased the 2 day Go Pass in LA and we really got our money's worth. We did the Kodak Theater tour, Red Lion Walking Tour, and the Hollywood Homes Tour on the first day. The second day we went to Santa Monica and used the bikes along the pier (very fun) and went on the Warner Brothers Tour in Burbank. Perfect weather and a wonderful vacation overall!
