Really enjoyed going up into the hills on the small but very comfortable bus! Our driver (Mike) was wonderful--entertaining and knowledgeable without being overly ridiculous. British as it turned out--and so am I!
Problem however, with such a small amount of time for lunch at the Farmer's Market, and then when we rushed back to meet the return bus, it felt like we were stranded for quite a while, and there was a lot of confusion about who would take us back. It got sorted after about a half an hour--but it didn't feel like a good end to an otherwise very good trip! You need to do something better about that turn-around part of the tour.

guide had alot to say but we couldnt understand most of it because of his accent. only 3 houses on trip could be seen properly the rest were behind trees and bushes, could have been anyones.would have been nice to be taken nearer to hollywood sign instead of taken to beverley hills sign for photo. on the plus side weather was lovely and the taxi driver from airport was very informative.

Very good tour. Air conditioned bus so even comfortable on the hottest of days. Knowledgeable guide.

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Good tour, would have been nice to see some actual stars houses rather than just gates, but I suppose that is impossible. The guide was knowledgeable, but arrived late and so our tour was cut short and then kept waiting at pick up point so a little disappointing.

The guide was very good, but it was a bit of a rip-off. Advertised as a 3 hour tour, we were dropped off after 2 hours at the Farmer's Market, told to fill in the next hour on our own and then picked up and dropped back to our hotel. He meanwhile, went off and started another tour. Basically, it was a two hour tour with drop-off and pick up from the market. Somehow this needs to be explained more fully in the description, or something else added to the tour.

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

We were both very disappointed with the tour. At one point we passed a guy on the road with a Map walking around Beverly Hills. The ‘Guide’ quipped “That’s what a Non-Tour experience looks like..” Well, guess what we did to actually see some stars following this Tour? Waste of our time and money.

Very disorganised - we met the tour at the Chinese Theatre, we were told to be there at 9.30 but didn't get on bus till 10am. Then everyone got off the bus to look at the Chinese Theatre! We stayed on the bus as we had already been there for over an hour. Tour of homes good, but didn't appreciate being constantly reminded that we had to tip the driver. Then we were sort of "dumped" at the food maket (do they get a kickback?). We were picked up by a different driver (another tip?) and dropped back at the Chinese Theatre. I felt like the last part of the tour at the food market was just a time filler. Would have been better to have more sightseeing.

Doing what: Los Angeles City Tour and Movie Stars' Homes Tour

Driver very late and the busses seemed disorganized. very little time at last stop because of this.

Excellent tour we had a great driver/tour guide. Tour was small size and we were in a covered air conditioning bus and due to the small van we could go down some of the streets that the bigger tour buses can't

entertaining and worthwhile. Saw how the other half lives and am glad I am in my half. Houses are nice-even better without the stars being scene.

it was anice tour, we were a little disappointed about the city tour part, in fact it was 95% movie stars tour than city and we gave no sense to the 45 minutes lunch break they gave just before end of the tour.

Must go tour, very personalised and with loads of hands on experience

No real issues here. I enjoyed the tour. Lots of gates and thus the movie home portion got borring pretty fast.
It was disapointing to see on the voucher they provided at the tour box office that tour is worth less than what we paid for it on Viator ...
