This is a great way to see LA
Great way to see Los Angeles in a short amount of time. Staff were very helpful and informative. Had a great time visiting Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Marina Del Rey.
Good way of getting to most major sites in LA -drivers all very helpful and informative.
Very nice and informative. Alberto was super informative with a pleasant personality.
Loved this. Was a great way to see all the sights. Had a 3 day ticket. Absolutely worth buying for multiple days. Drivers helpful and pleasant.
Hop Off Hop Off is a great way to see Los Angeles. We bought the 48 Pass, so the first day we did the Red and Purple Route. The second day we did the Yellow and Green. We stayed at the Universal Hilton, which the Blue Connector picked us up each day to go to the Chinese Theatre to start our day.
These are the best way to get around and see what you want and when. We went all the way to Santa Monica and Venice Beach all on the bus. We rode it all day long.
An excellent way to see round LA and the commentary was really clear and well spoken.
Great tour and guide. Thanks Alberto
Excellent. Found them tour really good. We were able just to get off and on and. See the sights. Well done
The Hop-on Hop-off bus covered a huge part of LA and we were able to see a lot more of the city than what we would have, if we were trying to do it on our own. You also don't have to worry about the traffic, which is fantastic. The narration was interesting and gave a lot of extra information, which we enjoyed. Be warned that LA is a big city and there is a LOT of ground to cover, so if you plan to do this in one day, you'll have to start as early as possible and probably stay on the buss for most of the day. If you have more than one day I would suggest getting passes for multiple days as the busses really do cover most of the city.
Great idea, great way to see all the standard sights in the area. We wasted a bit too much time by getting off the bus at one location, then just missing the next bus and had to wait half an hour for the next one - by that time it was getting later in the day and decided we wouldn't have time to see as much as we had wanted before the buses stopped running back to where we got on.
Convenient pick up and drop off for our hotel in business district Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Great to be able to get on and off at interesting landmarks.
We already submitted our review.
Good tour with good access to all venues
Excellent tour and excellent tour guide. Our stops were great at Venice Beach and downtown LA, even time to see and browse a bit. Would have enjoyed a stop on Rodeo drive even for 5 minutes. All in all was fantastic, highly recommend this tour
Probably didn't get the value out of this but I always do the hop-on hop-off bus to every city that I visit - great way to get your bearings!
Enjoyed this, but felt it was not clear where the bus stops were, a lot of them did not have any signs, we had to ask people. Other than that it was great, took you out to outlying areas
This tour was quite tiring and we did not get our money's worth. We only did the red route and only got off 1 stop which was Beverly Hills. The stop was quite a walk back into Beverly Hills as apparently that was the closest stop the bus was allowed to stop at. I think it's a bit of false advertising stating the tickets valid for 24 hours as the buses only ran 9-8ish. Saying that the time we did spend sat on the bus was quite informative. The negative I would say about the information relayed through the headphones on the bus is I would have preferred it was an American voice describing the places of interest. It's not quite the same hearing an English man describing all these fantastic American locations
We booked this before coming to LA as a way to see the sights. I have to say that the whole thing was poor.
Firstly, the buses are not equipped for hot weather, despite the location. It was boiling on the tour day, so impossible to sit up top on 2 out of 3 of the buses. Only one had any sort of cover. Downstairs was almost as bad. No aircon working on first bus so we hopped off just to cool down even though we did not want that stop. On the second the air con was leaking water. Just awful.
However the worst thing was the poor visibility downstairs due to the wrap round advertising on the outside of the bus. No clear view outside and impossible to take photos. How inconsiderate for a tour bus.
Only one driver of the three we had made any effort to have interaction with the paying passengers, with his own commentary on the landmarks we were passing. They were more in time than the out of sync recorded commentary. He also had the bus without aircon and gave advice about what to do if we passed out due to the heat!
The bus stops were not clearly identified on many of the stops, and all seemed to be devoid of shade.
We picked the wrong company for our tour. Others had issued sun umbrellas, had covers despite being open top, or had windows uncluttered with revenue getting advertisements. Any of those would be better, so look around for a deal. But not with Starline.
Excellent way to see the city and very good value for money. Definitely recommend buying the 48hour pass.
We truly enjoyed the convenience and the experience of using the Hop-on-Hop-off bus. A special shoutout to driver Derrick Evans for his hospitality and helpfullness!!
