Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
We didn't have time to go on it so we lost our money, which was a disappointment. I was hoping to go to Santa Monica Pier.
Warner Bros was good, tour was long and we saw a lot but nothing spectacular. I would recommend Universal instead. Also, there is a lot of travelling time and waiting around for the tour. Swapping buses and waiting for other people meant I spent over 5 hours travelling on the bus throughout the day, for a 90 minute tour. If you have little time in LA, visit the beaches instead!

Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
The hop-on hop-off tour of Los Angeles for us was rather disappointing. The information was good and informative but the length of each route and the coordination of the change-over from one route to another was terrible. The transfer coordinator of the red and yellow routes– Frank- was unclear about when buses were arriving and leaving. We arrived at one changeover point to be told the bus for the other route would be leaving in 30 minutes and would we like to use the restroom. There was a farmers market adjacent so we walked through this and returned after 20 minutes to be told that the bus had just left meaning we had ½ hour to wait for the next one. We then wanted to use the bus and go to Universal Studios only to be told by the driver that he was having his lunch and there would not be another one for 1¼ hours , this was not mentioned in the route map we were given. On our return to the change over point we were amazed to see the bus we wanted pulling out as we turned into the bus stop. They surely knew that the bus was due in because we had arrived at the end of the street in clear view of the coordinator. Yet another ½ hour wasted waiting for the next one to go. At the Farmer’s Market we waited 45mins for a bus when they were supposed to be 20 mins apart.
We never made it to the Downtown loop as we had no time left to complete it and return to our starting point.
Traveling To LA And Used Carnet Luxury Guide To Dining At Restaurants In LA and Had Dinner In LA Celebrity Hotspots With Great Food + Star Sighting
I used Carnet to find an excellent list of tourism ideas. The Carnet LA guide has a best list of modern luxury picks and the tourism guide led me to the best galleries where I bought a few pieces of art. Their lunch recommendation was for a restaurant with an insider address - there wasn’t even a sign or number on the front of the building! I had the best sushi prepared by a Master Chef who used to work under Urisawa.
My city trip to Los Angeles was complete with my Carnet itinerary to view art paintings, galleries and attractions that were highly cultural. I visited modern galleries, modern art museums, art deco architecture and even some of the masters. The Carnet guide was a great travel advisor that recommended interesting things to do in LA that would please a lot of different personalities.
Many people are unaware that Los Angeles boasts a great culinary scene with superb restaurants and dining rooms that are as elegant as those found in the best restaurants in Europe. Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
I and my wife choosed the two-days. we explored the Hollywood, Beverly hills and more in the red and yellow routes in the first day; explored the downtown Los Angeles and the city walk of universal studio in the purple and blue routes in the second day. So we saw every attraction in a short time.

Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
I bought 2 of these to cover our stay.(So I have 2 reviews.) I'd also like to mention that on the lower level the window coverings on the bus actually blocked the sightseeing, So upstairs is the only option for the sights! Not great in some weather!

Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
Using the hop on Hop Off was our transport around LA for our entire stay. We used it to tour (full loops) and as transport. GPS commentary not great as if traffic was running smoothly, the commentary would keep skipping sections to catch up to location. Some drivers slowed at places to prevent this.

Doing what: Los Angeles Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour
It is a nice way to get to see the whole city for the price. You almost need to get the 48 hour tickets to see all of the routes. I was not a fan of the purple route, I thought the area was run down and quite scary. My favorite place was the farmers market/grove area.

It's a great way to see Los Angeles especially if you have a limited amount of time. You really need one full day to go through all 4 routes not leaving much time for getting off and wandering around. If you're into exploring things yourself definitely get the 48hour offer

Very informative, 4 bus routes included in the price so you get to see LA, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier, etc. All done in you own time, you can get on and off as you feel like it. Great commentary and fun day! Meet other lovely travellers which is also always nice.
I have recommended this tour to many of my friends and collegues. For people who have done the Universal tram tour this is similar, but WAY better! Very interactive. Awesome to see behind the scenes.
