Southern California Theme Parks
Anaheim is the theme park capital of California. It's home to Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure and Downtown Disney. Also here is Knott's Berry Farm, which is smaller in scale than any of the Mouse's houses and is, in fact, America's oldest theme park.
SeaWorld continues to be a top San Diego attraction, and Legoland, in Carlsbad, is an enchanting place filled with mind-boggling recreations of American landmarks.

Knotts Berry Farm
When it comes to adrenaline-pumping thrill rides and wild adventures for the whole family, there's no place like Knott's Berry Farm. Enjoy 165 wild rides & live shows.
Legoland
This 128-acre park is brimming with more than 40 "kid-powered" rides, shows and attractions. There's plenty for everyone to enjoy, including Miniland USA's incredibly detailed LEGO cities.
Plan Before You Play
While vacationing at theme parks is sure to be fun for the entire family, it's up to the adults to formulate a game plan before hitting the coasters and carousels. Figure out which areas of the park you will conquer.
Also discuss beforehand if your group will split up and if so, how you intend to get in touch with each other (no doubt, times and meeting places will change). More practical tips: wear comfortable footwear, apply plenty of sunscreen, bring a change of clothes (some of those water rides will drench you) and drink lots of water all day.
