Very interesting but busy day spent in Macau.
Really enjoyed this tour, Cisco th eguide was very good.
Cisco was extremely informative and it was a nice tour, but a lot of fluffing around having to go thru customs and immigration both ways between Hong Kong and Macau, which I didn't expect. Must say I hate it when I'm on a tour and the guide asks for and fully expects a tip. I have always been in customer service and I also do bus tours, but have never and will not ever expect a tip for a job I applied for and am paid for. It irks me! The tour itself was not cheap and I would like to tip when and where I choose, not when I am told there is an expectation!
We visited Macau in 2005 .It was amazing how much it has changed since then.
There was a lot on offer and an excellent day out
The guide was superb. Content as expected
Our day trip to Macau was very memorable and we would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. We were picked up and dropped off from the Hyatt Regency. We would like to praise "Mario" our tour guide. He was very informative, honest and felt like a friend of the family. Great experience!
It was a great tour and gave insight on the history, sights and highlights of Macau. Our tour guide was great. Actually we booked three HK tours with you and all were exceptional! Would highly reccomend your company to anyone.
Mario the tour guide was the best. The whole day we loved and enjoyed immensely.
we had a very educational day with tour guide Mario we did not know what to expect but boy is did he make it very interesting he gave us the full history about macau and would recommend it to all visitors to hong kong
The trip was great. The tour company contacted us the previous day, and picked us up on time the next morning. The trip to Macau was good but I wish they had made time to visit a couple of the bigger casinos.
Staff are efficient, punctual, and professional. Mario ( Macau tour guide) is like a walking encyclopedia and made the tour bus like an iteractive classroom with hands on experience as we walk thru inner streets to the city center. Macau's history delivered in bullet pointswith just one day. Awesome experience. A must for any traveler.
The tour guide, "Cisco", was excellent; obviously very experienced and succeeded in keeping everybody up-to-date about the locations, time to spend, meeting points, recommended purchases etc, in a quick methodical way. The time taken from hotel pick up to arrival in Macau is a few hours, so it is a very long day but worth the trek.
Make sure you bring your passport as it is required on arrival and departure in Macau. Try the portugese egg tarts at the temple stop - they are a must. Only criticisms would probably be that more time at the tower (to try one of the many jumps on offer) or in the casino district would have been nice. In addition, the tour only collects and drops to certain hotels so you may have to get up a bit earlier to ensure you are at the meeting point.
Done iN Chinese and english, not happy. Should have been english only. Wer were very rushed at every stop, 5 minutes at casino, barely made the ferry back.
Tour guide Mario was excellent in his knowledge; we had plenty of activities crammed into the time and managed to go up the tower and watch someone bungee-jump. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, well executed and organised and directions, local history given by Mario - who was perfect to host the day.
The tour was very well organised. An enjoyable boat ride from Hong Kong to Macau. The arrival at Macau was a bit hectic due to poor facilities at Immigration, but this is expected to improve when the new ferry terminal is completed. Sightseeing most enjoyable, as was the meal provided to the group. A good break from the pressures of Hong Kong.
