bus very good, staff helpful useful trip....!!!!
What a great way to see Madrid!! I made good use of the two Trips available on two days. It was great to jump off bus, do a bit of exploring sights, then jump back on bus again. I highly recommend the Red Bus.
A very interesting tour of the City taking in many landmarks in a well equiped bus and knowledgeable guide. With the facilityto hop on and hop off and a ticket valid for the whole day it was good value for the price.
Excellent! Great value! I really liked the frequency of buses and that they went until late at night.
It made my first trip to Madrid very enjoyable. I can't wait to go back and use it again!
Great way to see the sights of Madrid, we got off at different stops and discovered wonderful sights around every corner. A great way to get up close and personal with Madrid.
Great way to see Madrid
This was a great way in which to see the main sites of interest in Madrid.
Me make a note of the sights we wanted to see and make time to explore properly, so on this tour we marked them down on the map, to visit them later.
An excellent trip and will certainly go back, and soon.
took i all we wanted to see in Madrid
great way to see the city
David was absolutely the bomb!! We enjoyed his tour and his enthusiasm was contageous. We are already planning another trip next year. Hope to see David again as a tour guide.
Doing what: Private Custom Tour: Madrid in a Day
Great option for travel to see the city. Buses every 15 minutes were great. Hop-on Hop off tour both lines excellent value for the money!
Great way to see Madrid initially to get orientated and to see the sights.
Easy to use frequent busses. Made the trip much more enjoyable.
Very conveniently placed and a very efficient run service
The buses were very comfortable and the tour included all the sights we wanted to see.
Good sightseeing tour with commentary. My only criticism would be that it would be helpful if, when approaching the stops, the commentary included the attractions in that particular area. That said, we have used Viator many times over the recent years and find it to be an excellent service.
The Hop-On/Hop-Off tour bus is a great way to see the city and all the major locations worth visiting. The best time to use this bus is first thing in the morning when they start their routes. Not many people around, so the bus is pretty empty. Later in the afternoon, the buses get pretty busy especially during high season. There is a bus driver, plus an attendant that takes/sells tickets and announces Spanish/English the various bus stops that are coming up, so you know when to hop-off. You can hop-on the bus at any bus stop you choose, and present the voucher to the attendant. The main item they look for on the voucher is your BR booking reference code that they punch into their handheld devices to verify/authorize that your voucher is pre-paid with their company. The attendant gives you a map shows various tourist locations and the bus stops and headphones, so you can plug the headphones into your seat console and listen to the audio tour in various languages. The headphones are decent enough for use throughout your tour with the buses, but they are low quality, so don't expect them to last very long afterwards. You can also buy your tickets directly from the attendant on the bus if you want at any bus stop, however, by pre-purchasing your tickets, it adds one more convenience to your trip. Buses come by every 10-15 minutes during high season, so it's not too long of a wait inbetween buses. We hopped on/off at the Prado Museum which is a transfer point between the two routes, so that helped a lot. Plus we visited the Prado inbetween our tour of both routes to break up the day a bit. Great tour service for getting around the city. For the price, you get transportation which is key, a map, an audio tour of various monuments, location and history behind each location, and of course, seeing everything at your own pace. The downside is that buses can get crowded, but such is life when you visit great, popular cities. Great service.
Very convenient stops.
A great start to our stay in Madrid. The tour allows you to identify the places of interest as well as giving you an understanding of the city's layout.
Great tour. Gets you to all the top places with some pretty good commentary. I did the City Essentials Passport and really enjoyed trying the various food and drink - they're mostly close to each other, which makes it simple to turn it into a fun evening adventure. The only negative thing and the only reason I'm giving it 4 not 5 stars is that I had to pick up the Essentials Passport from a different location, and the clerk on the bus basically shoved me off the bus and gave me vague it's over there directions. 20 minutes of wandering and I had found it, but she was rather rude and I felt could've provided much better direction.
An easy way to see Madrid.
Very complete tour, with helpful staff. Would be five star if the sound system worked.
I enjoyed the Madrid City Hop-on Hop-off bus tour. It was convenient, the audio recording was clear and the driver's assistant was helpful.
we have made both trips, de bleu en the green one. The blue one was nice ande the green one was a bit les
