It was okay. Thought the two stops (one at a rest stop/souvenir shop for more than twenty minutes and the other at a souvenir shop (for about a half an hour) were much too long and took important time that could have been used actually visiting Toledo.

This trip would have been better with a different tour guide. The English only tour was in both French and English, and i was so over listening to anything by the end. the optional excursions are NOT worth the money at all. the one we took of the city tour in Seville was in both Spanish and English and i'd say about 10% of the time she spoke in English. it was 35 EUR cash and we way overpaid. They were to drop us in city center afterward and instead dropped us in front of their hotel and we had about a 2 mile hike back to city center.
Tour was also segregated based on price paid - our one group stayed at two separate hotels - and don't pay for lunch ahead of time because they make a point to tell you that lunch is NOT included!

This tour was wonderful. The sights, the landscape and the village itself unique. I must give a thumbs up to our tour guide, who not only was excellent in her knowledge and translation but also very caring with my mother who had problems walking. It really made a difference for her. I will certainly book with you again in the future. My only suggestion here is a better location description of the travel agency location. Plaza de Espana is large and if you are in a taxi it costs that much more other than that - uncomplicated and excellent service. Thank you.

We took a full day trip to Toledo from Madrid. The tour guides were very informative and very organized. We admired masterpieces by El Greco. I recommend this trip; we would not be able to see so much if travel on our own.

The tour is good but was a bit rushed tough. Many of our members we left behind by the local guide at Cordoba and were seperated. One of us had to phone him. Overall we like this tour as it provides good information on the history

Lovely, leisurely stroll through a beautiful city accompanied by a very nice and informed guide. Could have done without the stop at the mandatory gift store en route to Toledo.

Doing what: Madrid Tourist Travel Pass

In April 2012 we traveled to Madrid from Malaga via Renfe high speed train and purchased a 3 day Madrid Tourist travel pass. As we were staying at an excellent hotel outside Madrid this pass proved to be a great value. Not only to get into central Madrid daily but to utilize the bus and the Metro many times per day. On arriving at the Atocha station initially we had some small difficulty finding the vendor of the pass but eventually managed this. We recorded our passport number on the reverse of the pass to identify it to us uniquely and then stamped it on first use the following morning upon boarding the bus. Within 30 minutes we were in Madrid from an country like area and off to the sights. A great buy, will do it again.

Although advertised as a tour with an "English speaking guide" it was a mixed group so both English and Spanish were continually spoken throughout the tour. No big deal but narration was continuous and unrelenting throughout the tour. Excellent tour and guide but would have enjoyed some time to visit the numerous elaborate shops and small gift stores avalilable in Toledo for visitors.

This was a very well worthwhile trip. Toledo is stunning. The guide was a bit wear. The Madrid tour was not as exciting but the guide was excellent. I particularly liked that she shared aspects of current Madrid culture and society. Very engaging.

Doing what: Toledo Half-Day or Full-Day Trip from Madrid

The day got off to a rocky start. They couldn't figure what bus to take. Once we got rolling the tour was fine and the tour guide was very informative .

I cannot say enough about our guide, Carlos. He has a great deal of knowledge in the history and regions of Spain. He was always friendly and ready to answer any questions. We were sad to depart such a spectacular guide! Would also like to give kudos to Ramon, our driver. We had some serious weather and never did we feel endangered. He is a very professional driver and always greeted us with his big smile.

Gorgeous view, very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Hope to back soon!

Another great tour! Half day tour didn't leave much time for more wandering. It would have been nice to have more time to look around. The half day tour was still well done and satisfied my curiosity.

Great day trip from Madrid. Beautiful city.
