The tour guide and driver were the BEST. My critique is centers around that late afternoon most everything is closed and you wouldn't have time to stop if more were open.

James provided us with one of the best nights of our trip. He made learning about local cuisine and dining habits a fun adventure. It was the perfect way to introduce ourselves to Madrid. This is a must do!! Can't recommend this tour enough.

excellent value for money, very well organized, friendly staff at Julia Travel and good guides.
Comfy coaches with a good speaker system, so overall really good, we did see a lot in one day, sure we coud not have done all that on our own.

Doing what: Madrid City Sightseeing and Royal Palace Tour
This is a very generic tour. It was nice to take a tour of the city via bus and they did stop a couple of times for photos. The Palace tour was good but you are limited by fellow tour mates. The guide did her best to keep all on point but in the end it proved to be a fruitless exercise.

The tour guide was uninspiring and unenthusiastic. The tour did not enter the Cathedral.

This was HORRIBLE. We were rushed and not able to linger looking at art or the cathedral; spent way too much time "shopping" at the place where we were supposed to see how swords were made, but clearly we were brought there to purchase expensive items in which I had no interest. Only 1 language!

Definitely recommend the tapas tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Diving into the Spanish tapas scene was much easier after the tour. A great way to spend a night out with other people and try some really great food.

Excellent tour. I would recommend to reverse the tour order in the winter, Toledo is beautiful and should be seen while still light is on.
