This tour was a lot of fun. Be aware this does not include all of thr tapas and drinks for all restaurants on the tour. Expect to shell out another 20-30 euros to cover the rest of the places

It was fun. Danny, our guide, took us to few bars to try different styles of food that represented different regions of Spain. Our group was just fun and we had a good evening.

The tapas tour was a lot of fun. We were with a very nice group of people and our guide brought us to a number of excellent places. We really enjoyed it especially since it was our first night in Madrid and we got an overview of the city.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to have a taste of local cuisine. Our guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable and accomodating asking us what sort of food and drink we'd like to try. I suggest doing this tour early in your trip so that you can come back to some of the recommended places in your later days in Madrid. Be prepared to cover the cost of food and drink in the subsequent establishments as we went to 5 tapas bars and only the first is covered by your tour fee. Note that the tour description does say this. And make sure you don't eat an afternoon snack to leave as much room for the food and drink on tour!

We had a fantastic night with our guide, Lorcan. We learnt a great deal about tapas and went into bars that we would probably have walked by if left to our own devices. We met two lovely american women and six of us stayed drinking and eating until 2.15am. A brilliant introduction to a weekend in Madrid!

James was the perfect guide for this mission. Engaging and knowledgeable, he tailored the night to suit the needs of all participants and most of us tasted foods we'd never usually try, and enjoyed it. Great variety of food and drink and good conversation. Highly recommended!

This was such a great thing to do! James (our guide) was amazing and personable and was very knowledgeable about the food and beverages we had at the different bars. The other people in our group were a lot of fun as well and everybody got to know each other and have a good time. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting Madrid book this tour!

Great food and great company! You could walk into any tapas place and do this on your own but it was so much fun to have Brent and James, our guides, suggest the local favorites for us to order. We would have never ordered them on our own but everything they recommended was super tasty. We went to 4 places and had a full sized drink at every one to go along with the tapas. Highly suggest to do this on your first night in Madrid just to get your bearings and to know what to order in the future. Please note the guides will ask for more Euros for the "kitty" (only the first tapas and drink is included in the price). This will be an awkward moment if you did not read the voucher carefully. We each put in 22 Euros extra which is well worth the value since it afforded us about 3 or 4 tapas at each place with a beverage (alcoholic or not) at each stop. I asked James (owner) to just charge $75 in the beginning and be done with it. He said he is reluctant to do it because it does not allow flexibility among the group. No worries, the extra money spent will be of good value. Your tour mates will be foodies also anyway. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Sometimes you do not get a chair or table at the first 3 stops. The last stop is a reserved table for the whole group at 11 pm and you will get to sit comfortably there.

this tour is highly OVER-rated. The tour guide had some knowledge of the city, but the quality of the food and drinks was mediocre at best. To ask for 20 to 30 Euros PER PERSON more after the cost of this tour is simple highway robbery.
FAIR WARNING: You will never get to sit down for 95% of this tour. So, if walking and standing for 4 hours is your thing, you will fit right in. Frankly, at $60+ per person you would think at least a hard stool to sit on would be available. But, the crafty guide informed that he would not get the FREE tapas if we sat down! DO NOT recommend this tour at all.
