Doing what: Madrid Tapas Night Walking Tour
It was good fun for the night and we appreciated some of the insights of our guide, expecially the advice on tipping in Spain. It is a nice chance to meet some other travelers and hear their stories. We thought that the price was a little expensive for what we received. The price only included a beer and a share of tapas at the first of four bars which had a value of less than ten euros person. Also, we were not shown the name of the tapas being ordered so that if we really liked one we would not know how to oder it on our own in the future.

This was misleading. They take you to the 1st Tapas Bar and pay the tab. After that you have to pay at each bar you go to.

Our tour guide Danny was fantastic. He did not provide only a tapas tour, but also included other helpful information about Madrid and its history. This tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Madrid. Definitely would do again and recommend to anyone going to Madrid. The other 3 couples that were part of our group made it a fun night!

This was FANTASTIC. Brett (Brent) our guide for the evening was fabulous; before long he had a group of strangers acting like best friends. His choice of tapas bars was terrific- all authentic yet different from one another. I'd recommend this ""Tapas crawl" to anyone and everyone.

James was a brilliant guide and host for the evening. Being an expat Brit meant he was easy to understand (all too often local City guides are hailed as English-speaking but their accents make them very difficult to understand). James' obvious passion for, and knowledge of, his adopted city (for the past 11 years) shines through and our group of 12 had a very enjoyable evening in a fabulous city.
A thoroughly recommendable tour.
Thanks James.

Going on a Tapas tour is something that I would recommend, especially on your first night in Madrid. The guide does not only explain about food but also tells you a little about Madrids history, restaurants, cafes and of course drink. Great that they keep it to a small group. My husband and I kicked on afterwards with 2 others from the group as we had such an enjoyable evening. Definitely recommend.

Surprised tht the tour guide sked for nothere22 to complete this tour. A lot of mixture of inferior type ingredients. Nice tour guide.

A ton of fun to find out how to do tapas right. Our guide, Paul, was funny and knowledgable about Madrid and other places people in our group were going. He made great choices in locations, tapas and drinks. A great way to meet other people to party with later. The last of us stayed out until 4 am and had a blast!

We were in a group of 4. Our guide James was very great and funny. We enjoyed the 4 restaurants/cafe he took us to. We spent around 26 euro on these places and they were perfect with all food and wine.
Highly recommend it.

what a great way to see the centre of Madrid. Would recommend you do this tour at beginning of your holiday/trip. You really get a well informed guide (we had Paul from Ireland), who really makes sure you get to sample a great combination of food and drink, marrying all the tastes so well. You get to meet other people from all over the world, we had Americans from 4 different States, Australians, and Chileans and we all mingled together well. So all in all a great night out.
