Plaza del Socorro in Ronda

Beautiful plaza in the middle of Ronda with a fountain that has Hercules and Two Lions...symbols of Andalucia. The building behind the fountain is where the Andalucian Flag was raised in 1918. The Plaza also has the Iglesia del Socorro.

We took the new highway to Ronda. Old way took 2 1/2 hours. new hwy built in 1970s takes 1 hour but it has 367 corners.
